Replacement for previous Wavlink Docking Station
I bought this to replace a previous Wavlink docking station that just up and died after about a year of use, which was incredibly frustrating. At first, I wanted a different brand, but Wavlink kept drawing me back with their price point. This one is working great, so far. I just hope it lasts longer than a year.

Works exactly as described 2 x 4K at 60hrtz
Exactly as described. It splits up on Windows to 3 screens but on Mac it only duplicates. I set mine to 60htz and 4k resolution on multiple 43 inch Samsung displays and it works perfect.

It has been consistently able to handle what is demanded of it.
This docking station is great. It’s small and perfect for traveling.I work remotely but can use my laptop and two portable monitors to work while away from home. Or, I can use a tv if available. Or I can use ALL four – my laptop monitor (it counts as one), the two portable monitors AND the television. This does support four monitors. Mileage may vary depending on your set-up. My desktop is six years old and won’t give me the third monitor because it’s older and judgmental doesn’t believe I am entitled to three monitors. My laptop is two years old and says, “Three? No problem. Want four? Sure! Oh, but I only have one HDMI port. But yeah, once you figure out how to get the others connected to me? You can have four!” This docking station lets that happen. This lets me fire up the mobile monitors (I need three screens for the job), as well as my mouse and headset. It also provides a few extra C charging ports and a data line.NOW… my job does require that if I do not have a reliable and secure wifi signal, that I have to be plugged in using a data line. This does NOT have that. My laptop does, so it’s all good. But be aware that this does not have that available. The speed is good and reliable. It’s made of good quality materials and seems pretty durable. It’s well-made and doesn’t look cheap. It has been consistently able to handle what is demanded of it.And it’s about the size of my cellphone.Plus, it’s a WAVLINK, which is a known brand that I’ve used with good success for years in various job settings.

Working well for my wife’s home office.
Working well for my wife’s home office. I have her set up with two 27″ monitors. One is 4k and the other is QHD (2K). Both were easy to set up and work well. The dongle is small and light weight for the money. Easy to take with.I will say that these small and portable usb c docks are getting less and less reliable, so time will tell. I’ll update if it gives us any trouble in the future.

Simple hub-style dock that works as advertised—best for compact systems
This “docking station” is really more of a USB-hub form factor, but everything functions exactly as claimed—triple display output, PD input, and all ports behaving correctly. It’s probably better suited for devices like a Steam Deck or small headless microsystems than as a full-featured laptop dock, but at this price point the compact design is easy to overlook. It works perfectly, just not in a traditional dock layout. Great value, all the basic connectivity you need, and plug’n’play setup makes it easy to use. It does get warm under full power draw though, just a heads-up.

A solid substitute for pricey laptop docks!
I was pretty surprised how well this tiny dock performs! When comparing it to other docks that have similar features, it provides a great deal of value for a fraction of the price and a much smaller size. It’s important to note this dock only has USB 2.0 ports so if you need USB 3 speeds/functionality then this isn’t for you. You can connect up to 3 USB devices and 3 video connections. I was able to test with 2 USB devices and 2 video connections as I don’t have 3 monitors. One thing I noticed was my wireless mouse seemed to experience lag. While I was fiddling with settings, I changed my monitors to be at 144hz and 75hz (their max settings) and after making that adjustment the mouse seemed to stop lagging for whatever reason. The last thing I tested was the power supply as I wanted to see if the dock worked without power. Everything worked fine without the power supply connected. Once I did connect it, the dock seemed to shut down for a half a minute or so. Then my monitors kicked back on and everything was working great.I didn’t notice any extensive heat coming from the dock while I used it. Overall, I’d say it’s great for the price. I usually use a Dell dock for my laptop and aside from the lack of USB 3 I’d say it gave the Dell dock a good run for it’s money.

The WAVLINK Triple 4K Docking Station turned out to be exactly what I needed. A couple of other USB-C hubs I’ve didn’t include a DisplayPort, which was limiting for my setup. I picked this one specifically because it offers both DisplayPort and dual HDMI, and it delivers well—running multiple monitors without any issues.Setup was simple, and once everything was connected, the dock handled the displays smoothly. The PD input is convenient since it keeps my laptop powered without needing an extra charger, and the additional USB ports work great for wireless peripherals.Build quality is solid and the device stays fairly cool even during extended use.Overall, this dock provides exactly the flexibility I needed, especially with the DisplayPort + HDMI combo. If you want a stable, multi-monitor Windows docking station with plenty of connectivity, this is a reliable and well-priced option.

The WAVLINK WL-UMD308L 7-in-1 is an amazingly powerful little dock for the price! It is small enough to slip into your bag while being versatile enough to support triple 4k monitors (2x HDMI, 1x Display Port 1.4)I am not to bothered by is not coming with a LAN port given its price. Even without one I still think it offers excellent value for money. Luckily, If I did need one my laptop came with a USB-C LAN adapter anyway so I can just use that when needed. WAVLINK offer a vast range of docks in all different sizes so if you find this one does not fit your needs 100%, I highly recommend checking out their other products.Plug and play with Windows 11, well built with a solid case and nice and compact.

This is a fairly decent multifunctional (or rather multi-display) USB-C dock that provides PD/95W charging, triple-display (via 1x DP and 2x HDMI) as well as 3x USB 2.0 ports (480 Mbps), and that’s just about ALL it has; no GigE port, no 10 (or even 5) Gbps USB ports, no SD/TF reader, and no 3.5mm port. Unlike most others that include at least one other port type, this one has none of those and it’s not a true multifunctional USB-C dock in my mind; however, what it does have is the ability to support up to 3x displays and all 3 of them can be 4K@60Hz or higher, which VERY FEW (and surprisingly at that) USB-C docks support at the moment.Unlike the vast majority of docks out there, this is one of the few USB-C docks that supports triple-monitors (albeit with some requirements/limitations, read on) via 1x DP and 2x HDMI. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have any USB ports capable at least 10 Gbps (or even 5 Gbps for that matter) and that makes this dock a poor replacement for other docks especially if you have M.2 NVMe enclosure unless video output is the ONLY thing that matters to you of course. I personally would also like to see a 10 Gbps USB port (USB-C preferred) and RJ45 port at least but that’s just me.The 3x USB-A ports are rated for USB 2.0/480 Mbps only and they are ONLY good for keyboard, mouse, and other low-bandwidth or legacy device. High speed device are completely out of question for these ports unfortunately. It does have PD/100W charging; however, it max out at 95W (93W tested) since the remaining power is required to power the USB ports and the device itself.≡ Triple monitorNot surprisingly, the most important feature of this dock is its ability to support 3 monitors in total (and 4 if you count the laptop); however, this is NOT without limitations or rather, STRICT REQUIREMENTS (requires DP 1.4 for 4K@120Hz or above) just like all other docks out there. Note that this is one of the VERY few docks out there that supports 4K@144Hz (tested with a 27″ MSI 4K monitor) and that’s absolutely fantastic. What’s unique about this particular USB-C dock, in addition to being 4K@144Hz capable (single display), is that it also supports 3x 4K displays with one being 4K@120Hz (DP) and the remaining 2 having 4K@60Hz (2x HDMI), which is great. I don’t have 3x 4K (1x 120Hz and 2x 60Hz) monitors to test it with but it does work without issues with 1x monitor running at 4K@144Hz (single display setup) or a 3-display setup with 1x 4K@120Hz, 1x 4K@60Hz, and 1x 2K@60Hz. Suffice to say, this is amongst one of the best and well-performed triple-display USB-C docks out there. So what are the limitations/requirements? Well, first of all, the DP/HDMI port requires DP 1.4 Alt mode from your USB-C; otherwise, it’s not gonna work or the max resolution/refresh rate would be lowered if only DP 1.2 is supported depending upon your existing screen resolution/refresh rate. The bottom line is that the USB-C port should have DP 1.4 Alt mode support in order to fully utilize the DP/HDMI port to its fullest (4K@144Hz or 4K@120Hz). DSC 1.2 (Display Stream Compression) is also required to for 1x 4K@120Hz and 2x 4K@60Hz to work. DSC is optional although it’s implemented in most, but NOT all, laptops out there so just double check to ensure it’s available.≡ What I like✔ Triple-display support with a single 4K@144Hz (or 1x 4K@120Hz and 2x 4K@60Hz) which few others support (without drivers, i.e. non-DisplayLink) at the moment✔ Support for PD/100W charging (95W max, 93W tested)✔ Reasonably cost efficient in comparison to most other 3x monitor docks✔ Nice and clean physical build and appears to be well made✔ Relatively compact and portable✔ Plug’n’Play – I was able to use it right away without issues≡ What I don’t like✘ No support for 20, 10, or even 5 Gbps USB ports (USB-C preferred over USB-A)✘ No support for GigE or SD/TF card reader≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent triple display USB-C docking station that’s reasonably well built and capable of triple monitor setup with 1x 4K@120Hz and 2x 4K@60Hz (requires DP 1.4/DSC 1.2) along with 3x USB 2.0 ports (boo), 95W charging, and nothing else; no Ethernet port, SD/TF reader, 3.5mm port, and certainly no 5 Gbps or faster USB ports. It’s very reasonably priced at $35 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features (or the lack thereof), usability, versatility, and performance. This would undoubtedly be very useful for those that require3x 4K monitors; however, since it doesn’t really have anything else (anything useful that is), it’s not an ideal multifunctional USB-C dock for the average consumers unless (again) you have specific needs with respect to the number of high-resolution monitors and ONLY that. The lack of a 10 Gbps port is perhaps the biggest downside for me along with the lack of GigE port which I often require. Your mileage might vary.
