Do away with the charging cables! I can’t count how many charging cables I’ve gone through. The wires get cut inside the insulation very quickly and I was tired of buying them all the time. I got this to fix the problem. It works great. The indicators show red when charging and green when fully charged. It’s astetically pleasing and eliminates those messy and tangled cords. Please note that this comes with a new back plate for your controller. The plate has a couple holes so it can’t make connection with the controllers battery in order to charge. However, they don’t fit on every xbox controller. It seems to be only the new generation. One of my controllers has no backing because it wouldn’t fit. It would have been nice to have something universal or added a plate in the box that was compatible.

Great charger
My old one of three years stopped working for the second controller, tried everything to fix it but no go. I ordered this, and it was delivered less than 3 hours later, incredible. Besides that, this is a great charger as well, and its a lot more compact than my old one, I do like it a lot. Charges fast, and the batteries last a very long time. I love it so far, and based on other reviews, im sure ill stay satisfied with its performance

I don’t know why I didn’t get this sooner! This charging station costs less than the AA batteries I use over six months. The unit was easy to set up and includes two batteries for two controllers. The lighted “X” on the front indicates the charging status. It works!
