Great joycons. Wrist straps, not so much
Controllers arrived in a small brown box with wrist straps attached. Controllers seem to be fully functional upon arrival with no stick drift. However, the included wrist straps are not the original nintendo ones. They are rounder with no markers on the buttons. The controller indicators are on the side rather than the top. Most importantly, they can’t lock.

We tried a couple of generic brands and found them unplayable due to persistent button press lags. I was concerned about the refurbished nature of these but they worked out great. Everything just works as expected, and the kids arebgetting enjoyment from the Switch again. Not sure if all refurbs are the same on Amazon, but I would purchase again from this vendor.

Input Delay, Motion Control Drift and Poor Fitment
I bought these for my dad. And it wasn’t till 104 days that I was able to play on his Nintendo Switch with these controllers. 14 days past the return policy.I immediately noticed that they felt too light; and, that some of the buttons felt too tight or too loose.When using the motion controls, like aiming in Zelda, the course on-screen drifts up and to the left continuously, making it impossible to aim accurately. There is also a decent input lag on them. Probably about 1/4 second. So, fast games like Smash Bros are unplayable. I’ve done some troubleshooting and can confirm that other Nintendo Switch Joycon controllers do not have these issues with the same console, games and TV. It’s definitely these “renewed” controllers that have the issues.This is all a pretty big bummer, because my dad is just learning to play modern games and is very excited to do so. I knew he was having some frustrations. Now I wonder to what extent his frustrations were due to playing with bum controllers and him not having the experience to tell that he was not at fault. Perhaps I received an outlier. I am happy to change my review if the issue is resolved. Thank you for reading.

Works but for a price
worked amazing until today :/ the right switch won’t work and now I have to buy the set again. only lasted me 7 months, I expected more due to the price.

Looks almost like I bought a new pair!
Only had for two days so far. But impressed, they look new, came with two straps. I was able to open them and put them on my switch easy and play right away.*Update, after having a few weeks and playing I’ve noticed what others have said. If I play with joycons off the switch I have to reconnect after every round of playing something. If on the switch and having everything in tact it seems to be fine. But some connection issues will off the monitor. Which isn’t the end of the world to me. But could bother some I guess. It hasn’t had any issues during the game through connection wise. It just had me reconnect after a round of playing super smash for example

Amazon Renewed me decepcionó por primera vez. Varias cosas estuvieron muy mal:1. Decía condición excelente pero no es el caso, tiene mucho desgaste visible, se ve que se usó bastante y ya está brilloso alrededor de los botones y los lugares donde se agarra. No parece producto nuevo ni bien cuidado.2. Tardaron 20 días en enviarlo. VEINTE DIAS! Y a eso súmale otros cuantos días el que el transportista lo hiciera llegar hasta acá, pero eso fue un tiempo razonable, incluso con la importación.3. Enviaron un control que no carga. El izquierdo jala bien, pero el derecho la batería le dura como 10 minutos. Seguro que por eso el dueño original lo devolvió y simplemente lo vuelven a vender. Estoy viendo mis opciones, tal vez me es mas fácil arreglarlo en vez de devolverlo, pero definitivamente jamás se lo recomendaría a nadie.Por otro lado, venía muy bien empacado y envuelto. Los 20 días que se tomaron en encontrar una caja bonita sirvieron solo para eso.
