Finally I can compete with the rest of my neighbors for most beautiful decoratively home competition that exists in my neighborhood subdivision and more so in my head. So first: in case you were wondering: NO they really meant you can’t add additional segments, no matter how creative you try to be. Get it through your head and don’t do it bThe light quality is enough to make your equally decoration obsessed ancestors proud and the neighbors envy you. The rgb color and lumen capacity are absolutely incredible. They are simply stunning, have really seamless integration between channels of lights and come with enough lights to make any home bright. They are functional for all holidays, but especially the ones that matter: Christmas and any others for your friendly neighborly outdoor lighting competitions. The length of the connection cables were not my favorite. I would’ve preferred 16ft cables to travel on more awkward places on my roof and provide more slack for my install. But for a 37 year old mom and wife who doesn’t exercise with much regularity—this is as seamless as you can get, and I can’t wait to brag to my doctor that I did this by myself, before she gets a chance to remind me of my bmi. The lights have waterproof caps for ends of connections and at all connection points.Govee is expensive. I know. But it’s the best. Just think of all admiration you’ll get for your beautiful uplift home! Buy them!!

Everything was great, got the product, easy to install, app easy to use. After two days the last link has started to not respond to app and is multi color. Contacted customer support, received amazing support. Quick response time and lots of troubleshooting ideas. Fast solution!! 100% recommend. Now we have a full set of working lights!

Pretty awesome lights. Install took about 2hrs on my own and was straight forward. Very happy. Lost as star as the screws these come with for installing the clips are completely useless and will strip very easily. Buy your own, don’t use these.
