Solid Capture Card with Great Features.
I bought this for 2 reasons: 1) Price and 2) Features. I am not sure you can find better for the money. It is small, well-built and performs its function well. I’ve only used for testing and 1 live event and everything worked seamless without any hiccups. I have used some economical capture cards in the past that would freeze and lose picture, but this one stayed steady and did not get very hot. It also includes a mic and headphone jack which is not common in this price range. If you are new to streaming or need a reliable backup capture card, it is hard to beat this deal.

4K 60FPS passthrough at this low of a price?!?!?!
I bought this to see if it actually does 4k 60fps passthrough and surprisingly it does. At this price point it undercuts the entire capture card market. The only real issue I had was a few dropped frames every once in a while when viewing the OBS preview. If you don’t need 4k recording then this is the capture card for you.

Good budget capture card for beginners
There’s hardly any lag with this device when you record. It functions really well while your recording 4K up to 60 FPS. It’s also pretty easy to use. Audio quality is fantastic. However, depending on what microphone you have, it won’t be so good to use because of static in the audio. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to start recording games

Solid Option if Passthrough Needed
It works wonderfully. I use it to stream digital audio via hdmi and it works flawlessly. Used it for days on end, it gets hot, but nothing extreme.

I really do recommend
It was a little complicated at first because i couldn’t get the audio from my ps5 to my computer and hear it at the same time but i figured it out, but overall amazing product i really do recommend, don’t go spending hundreds of dollars on capture cards when this one works amazing

Solid and great value capture card
Very pleased with this capture card. Did a stream that lasted over 6 hours and there were no issues. It did not get very warm either, which as a very pleasant surprise. This is on the list as a repeat purchase

First off this is a good little capture card for the price. Decent capture and low latency. There are however a few issues. Using the recommended settings in OBS for me produces abysmal performance (10-15fps). Using OBS’ default video input settings produces better performance, but this seems capped to 50fps and only seems to support MPEG encoding. All in all this is a good card for the price, but I recommend getting a higher quality card if you can afford it.

Capture cards are getting better and better and nowadays it doesn’t cost much for a good 1080p capture card. This one can still record/stream at 60fps, which is enough for most gamers and streams out there. You can also pass through at 4K 30fps, which is good for modern consoles where you can play at the better resolution still and stream at a lower resolution. Though this is limited to 30fps and will record what you’re getting still. So it might not be ideal for all use cases. Still, this addition doesn’t put the price up compared to other cards that can’t pass through that high resolution.Using it is simple enough if you follow the instructions and then it’s pretty easy to remember for to do it. Cables are included but you might want your own HDMI for output. The build quality is fine. It’s robust and feels solid, even if not premium. Which it doesn’t need to be. Overall it’s a good device that works well. I’m happy with it.

So yes, you get 4k passthrough and yes, you only get 1080p of recording quality, but you have to keep in mind that you’re getting this at a reaaaaally affordable price. We are comparing this against something like an Elgato Game Capture HD60s, which is about three times the price. When you’re doing this comparison, you realise that it is actually not a bad deal. Some downsides are that the chassis gets a bit warm but that’s normal and it is made out of metal so it cools down well, also there is a bit of a lag when capturing content but that is completely normal, which is why you use the passthrough. I didn’t expect too much from this little Capture Card, so I was very pleasantly surprised that it worked so well at this price. I haven’t used this for more than a month, so I think that it would have to be at least a year or two until we maybe start seeing some noticeable issues (if any), but so far everything is great.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a more budget version of the HD60s and is planning on swapping it in a year or two.

It’s a straight-forward but mediocre pass-thru capture card. What always annoys me with these cheaper ones is that they’ll pass through a 2K or 4K signal but only capture in 1080p. So old hat in gaming terms.Windows 10 laptop did not like this, windows 11 and MAC OS were OK.

This capture card is a small USB-powered device that comes with a USB-C cable and an HDMI cable. The USB-C cable has a handy USB-C to USB-A adaptor attached; this is what you plug into a PC or Mac. The HDMI cable connects the device to your HDMI source, such as a gaming console. You will optionally need a second HDMI cable for the output from the device to your normal screen. Finally, there is a 3.5mm microphone input and a 3.5mm headphone output on the device.Like most capture cards, the expectation is that one uses this with the excellent and free OBS Studio. There are brief instructions in a short user manual on how to set this up.The video capture takes a source of up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and captures it at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. No driver installation is needed on the PC or Mac; it is recognized as a USB 3.0 source for both video and audio. A limitation is that HDCP (copy protection) is not supported so this must be disabled on PlayStation, for example. If your source requires HDCP you are out of luck. The video output is either YUV422 or MJPEG with the former being better quality. The card works well for me and I like that it is USB-C throughout. I also like the aluminium case on the device which is smart, durable and good for cooling. I also removed the board to have a look and noticed a nice heatsink attached to the main processor, which apparently is an MS2131 (MacroSilicon). This is quite similar to the ealier MS2130 except that the later model has the loop HDMI output for HDMI passthrough. I did break one of 6 small plastic clips removing the board so I don’t recommend doing this; it is still quite secure though.Of course this is a budget card and one should not expect professional results but it is good value and fine for everyday use.
