Couple weeks ago I got another newer high end oled high Hz monitor from a pretty popular company witch I won’t mention and it’s nothing compared the the LG 27GX790A-B this Power House of a monitor is exactly what you pay for amazing OLED display stutter free and Fast response time the brightness is just right and displays correct color accuracy!. If your into fast past high FPS games this is the Gem for you!!! This would be my 2nd LG monitor and I’m not mad at all!!! Life’s Good!.

Stunning detail – great contrast – much easier to read. I’m a programmer and this has made it much easier to read the screen – highly recommended. My other previous 32″ LED LG screen looks washed out compared to this.

By far the worst experience ever ordering a display from Amazon. WARNING! This doesn’t come from LG directly. Instead, an LG certified dealer will ship your expensive display in a refurbished box that’s opened. Good luck returning the item. There is a reason why this product is marked as frequently returned. I purchased this a month ago and still waiting for my refund. Amazon is experiencing significant delays in processing returns so be ready to wait 30 days for your return to process. I regret this purchase more than anything! I would’ve avoided all of this had I read the reviewers. I trusted LG and didn’t feel the need to investigate the product. Don’t fail like I! Please do your research and stop ordering from Amazon. Otherwise, they will continue to take us customers for granted. Imagine if we all stopped ordering this product? Amazon would have no choice but to act and make it right to us customers. They can care less for the customers experience as long as the money keeps flowing.

fantastic image quality BUT came with missing protective film on the screen
let’s me get the review of the product out of the way: fantastic image, clear text, deep color. just fantastic image. my problem that caused me to knock off 2 stars is the way it arrived. everything was in the box as they should be. the monitor was in the foam bag too, however, the protective film that should be on the screen wasn’t there and I can clearly see palm prints and finger prints on the screen. when the monitor is off, I can see other smearing marks near the center of the monitor too. so even though this is sold by Amazon as NEW, clearly this is not factory new. there is no dead pixel or any other functional defect so I’ll keep the monitor but I gotta say, it was disappointing to see the palm prints, finger prints and other smudges. buyers beware.

Build quality, packaging, and used panel issues
The product details are amazing, but unfortunately, I received a used and defective panel. First, there were many stain marks on the surface of the panel. Next, the gray color area shows numerous vertical stripe lines scattered across the display. In addition, both corners are slightly lifted, and along the bottom edge of the panel, there are numerous small dot-like marks, almost as if the surface has been lightly dented. I’m not sure what caused these, but they are clearly visible. However, the screen quality itself is truly outstanding. It’s so impressive that I’ve decided to reorder a new one. I’ve used a few different types of panels, including OLED products, but this one is by far the most impressive in terms of OLED quality.

Great monitor. Refresh rate 480Hz works as advertised. OLED blacks very deep. Colours need some tuning out of the box but are beautiful once calibrated. G-sync works great. Minor VRR flicking but only occurs in a few situations and never during actual gameplay, usually just in menu screens. Very easy setup. Stand works amazing and is sturdy.

Do not buy this monitor. I started getting these red dots on the top right corner of the screen after only 1 month. I followed all the preventative measures to avoid something like this from happening and it still happened. This monitor is known to have problems.I saw some people say that buying an OLED is not worth the trouble and headache of burn-in and other problems, I now completely agree with that statement and will not be buying another OLED. Don’t get me wrong, when they work they are nice as the contrast and colors really pop, but again they are just not worth it with all the problems.

Deep blacks! Visually stunning! Almost no motion blur. One of the best monitors I have used. – Try to buy this Monitor when there is a sale. Worth it!!Note – if you are having flickering issues, try turning adaptive sync from extended to basic or off. When i switched it to off my flickering issues went away!! And for updating the monitor connect the usb a cable and then download lg switch

grainy/screen door effect when looking at still gray colors like dark mode on your browser. pretty sure its the matte layer on the screen. much much worse if youre in a dark room but unnoticeable when the room lights are on. and its non existent if the image is moving like in game or during movies unless you are actively looking for it or theres a scene with still gray/dark gray colors for too long. but still barely noticeable even then. thats all the bad things ive noticed so far. still pretty good

Did not notice much of a difference between 240hz to 480hz. OLED panels make the difference between with other panels.
