Perfect way to display looping media on a non smart TV
This is a really simple device used to play media either wirelessly, or through portable storage such as a microsd card or a usb drive. It comes with a power brick, a cable, a remote, and the device itself. It would have been great if they included an HDMI cable, but those are cheap additions you could purchase.The main function of this device is to play media whether it’s through a wireless function to mirror a phone screen, or from an external storage.This is a really small and portable device as you could see from the picture. The remote control is longer than the device itself.While the idea is good, the execution is poor. Playing media from an attached storage is relatively simple and you could even use the attached remote to do so, but the wireless feature is difficult to use. The app is not even listed in the app store for android, which pretty much limits this to a media player for attached devices.Once the media is playing and set on loop, it’s easy to leave it on and forget about it, which serves its purpose well.But for the cost, I wish all the functionality were more fleshed out.

Portable and Durable Media Player for USB or a Micro SD Card
This little media player performs its function perfectly. The setup is very easy and the included manual is helpful. I needed something to play media from a USB drive on a TV. During my experience the media player has been quick in responding to my inputs, and it has yet to fail any action that I have asked from it. The included remote is a nice addition and quite helpful in navigating the menus. The video and sound quality has been great, I have not noticed any loss in quality.I really appreciate how portable and durable the player is. You can easy hide this behind a monitor or TV. I also appreciate that the company included a power brick, a small touch but a nice little addition. If you are seeking a media player to display media from a USB drive or micro SD card, I think this produce is a great value for your money.

Does Everything I need…but doesn’t do everything it claims
I acquired this device to play a slideshow and loop announcements.THE GOOD:The metal housing is solid, and i have confidence in its ability to hold up to daily use. It is powered by USB-C (awesome) and connected to my monitor through HDMI without a problem. The interface is clean and simple, showing a preview of what it is you want to display. The instructions are sufficient to understand the functions, which are basic but sufficient. I loaded a USB-A thumbdrive with photos of the various slides I want to show and plugged it in. The device immediately recognized the pictures (.PNG format), and with one click they were looping on the monitor. There were settings for duration on each slide, a few different transitions, cropping…everything I needed for the slides to be professional and presentable. The remote control works well also.THE BAD:Unfortunately I was not able to try the app on Android. I searched it, and used the QR code to search for it in the play store, but it is not there, I think it was removed from the Play Store, which doesn’t bode well for its safety. Without the app there is not way to send data wirelessly, nor can the firmware be updated or the time sent. These things don’t matter to me, but in that they are essential to many, I cannot give it more than 3 stars until the app is back in the Play Store.I will update this review if the app is put back in the Play Store and functions as it ought.

Wireless media player for home and commercial use that works with iOS, Android, Windows and OS X
The short story. I really liked this device but the software and immature firmware knock it down a star.The longer story. The ability to upload photos, cast your screen for videos and desktop sharing from iOS, OS X, Windows and Android, that functionality is clear, rock solid and stellar. There’s also a micro SD card slot in the front of the device but it is limited to 16GB being recognized (32GB was inserted). Plenty for photo sharing and of course, its intended use for creating advertising signage.Wireless performance is great with very low latency. The construction of this device is quite nice, solid and features a full metal housing that is durable.I knocked a star off because the management software for the device is very lackluster at the moment. There are mobile apps for both iOS and Android in their respective app stores but it is somewhat limited. The key functions of uploading content and using it as a remote control the app works well but when it comes to things like upgrading the firmware and setting the time, the app falls way short of expectations. Pairing your app requires a QR which can be found easily in the setup menu. The physical remote also works very well.It’s a very good device that works very well with its core function with not so great software but the good news is this is fixable and I suspect given a little more time we should see some updates made that will make this a great device.

I love tech toys and had some ideas on how to use this device for special occasions. I used this for my friends parents anniversary and my neighbors daughters birthday. We set this up on a projector the the anniversary to show pictures, videos, and more for the evening. We did a similar thing on a TV for my neighbors daughters birthday and for both instances, it was a real hit and I’m already queued up to use it for a ton more events.The hardware is pretty straight forward and well made. Small aluminum box and antenna that is easily tucked away and setup with any video device. Setup was fairly easy too, was a bit on the basic side but then again, it didn’t need to be more complicated than what it was, worked fine. I think the best part is that you don’t need to use your phone or PC to connect and you can just drop in a memory card.The video output is quite good and I can see this being perfect for a store/restaurant for a menu, but for my purposes of displaying stuff for a special occasion, it worked great too.Overall, a fantastic device that was easy to use and did a great job. Even if it’s got a very niche use case.
