Troxel quality and style
This is third Troxel helmet I’ve owned. I only replace one after about 6-7 years for safety, knowing the impact resistant material slowly degrades over time. Fit is very good, and comfortable for multi-hour long trail rides. I prefer the looks of the Sierra model like this one, but the less expensive models are fine too, just not as stylish 🙂

Suprisingly comfortable!
This is a nice helmet. It fits nice, is lightweight and actually very comfortable! I ride western and never really thought about wearing a helmet before. Now that I am older and I have some newly broke horses I thought it might be time to start being a little safer. Its alot like the seatbelt..the more you wear it the more used to it you get and soon it just becomes habit. This helmet is so light and comfortable I sometimes actually forget I even have it on.

Trust the brand
This is a good casual looking helmet with great detailing.Very comfortable padding.Of course, safety is the reason to wear it. You can’t judge how well it works without having a horrible accident. I bought it mostly for Troxel’s reputation and long history of making approved helmets.

Don’t fit like they used to . Had to get other brands to fit
Troxels no longer fit well. No matter med or large they do not fit . I used to wear them from age 34-55. Now at 65 , they are tight no matter what size med or large. I had to switch brands .. my weight has always been 134 so it’s not my head that changed

Older model with missing part.
Great helmet very nice looking and fits great. Doesn’t make your head look huge. However I have bought this same helmet at a cheaper price elsewhere and it is the newer version with a magnetic clasp and ame with a mesh head cap with padding around the edge for a better fit. I need 3 of them and They didn’t have anymore so I bought them here at amazon. These did not come with the extra cap and is an older model without the magnetic clasp for a much higher price. This is how amazon is making up for loss. By peddling older merch for higher price. Disappointed with amazon for price gouging but not the product.

I guess the hat is not BS Kite Marked or BHS approved but it has undergone extensive testing and we are not competing anyway….the first hat we brought from Robinsons here in the uk 🇬🇧 About 20 years ago 😆but since hard to find here we love this hat for comfort and syle 😍 thinking to get myself one to!!
