Amazing Laptop
Pros: it actually runs amazingly it even runs big games like TLOU and RDR2 wellCons: Fan is loud. It gets really hot sometimes.. Must kept charging at all time for the best performanceHonestly the cons aren’t even the big of a deal it’s a very well gaming laptop let alone laptop in general. It’s fast and it has a lot of storage I have so many dumb games I can just play whenever. 100% recommend if you want to play huge games with a lower budget.

Incredible Performance – Incredible Price
This one takes the cake. During the fourth of July sales going around from every major tech market, I did about two weeks of research only to come to terms that this was not only one of the cheapest options, but best priced options for everything that’s attached to the motherboard. I was pleasantly surprised when I fired everything up and ran a few benchmarks to see just how well it did right out of the gate. Note, this is all without anything overclocked here. I mainly wanted to do some benchmarks without any tampering just to see how it ran. Here is my results;Superposition benchmark – average 80 frames (Could of been higher if frame gen was included but not too bad)Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark – average 124 frames (Ultra settings maxed, excluding a few ray tracing options)Path of Exile 2 End Game maps – average 80 frames (High settings, Frame gen hasn’t been optimized in path yet, but runs amazingly well)Hogwarts Legacy benchmark – average 100 frames (Ultra settings, frame gen has slight stutter frames but runs exceptionally well)Pros:- Runs games exceptionally well- Price is possibly the best for what you’re getting- Though not OLED, the picture quality is very good- MSI and it’s features are nice if you haven’t tried them yet- Sleek and incredibly designCons:- Is quite noisy- Does run a little hot, might consider a cooling pad for better heal levels in peak moments- 1TB might not be enough if you’re a serious gamerAll in all, its an incredible laptop for what you’re getting. I’m thoroughly enjoying everything that it has offered thus far. All that’s left is to focus overclocking and pushing it to the limit.

Good starting point
This laptop surprised me, i was impressed with how well it handles some of my games. I currently have like four games installed, two of which are meant to be multiplayer based. It runs smoothly even when setting it up. Storage space is great for the amount of games you could have and manage. Sounds work, no problem there as well as the screen still looks amazing, but that’s just my personal opinion. I also appreciate the quality control on the battery life, even when I mostly play with it plugged in, it doesn’t feel wrong and the heat is barely noticeable. Even when using a cooling pad after a game session, I feel some heat but not much. I’d say this is a good starting gaming laptop for those looking to pc gaming and not on the heavy expensive side.

works well for gaming on the go for sure, or even if you don’t want to commit to a full setup. it is giving audio glitches immediately out of box so that is very alarming to me. i’ve never had a computer that immediately started bugging out, so I will update this review as needed.

Amazing gift for my cousin!
My Three Cents:I just bought this MSI Katana for my cousin, it’s a birthday gift. Me and him were looking at laptops for weeks and this one had the best specs for the price. My cousin is a big gamer, so he needed something strong.The screen is amazing. Its QHD and 165Hz, so the games look super clear and smooth. He installed his favorite game and it run perfect. The RTX 5060 graphic card must be really good. Also its very fast with the i7 processor and 16GB of ram. He says there’s no lag at all.The 1TB SSD is also a big plus, he has so many games and it’s nice to have all that space. The RGB keyboard is a cool touch, he loves changing the colors. Wifi 6E is fast too for his online games.I’m just really happy with this purchase. Seeing how happy my cousin is, I know I made the right choice. If your looking for a gaming laptop for someone, this one is a really good deal. I definately recommend it.

Fans are pretty loud, but I dont really care. Heat builds up but it hasn’t overheated my guess is why the fans are loud. Good product good quality, speed is phenomenal, keys aren’t bad n quiet clicks. Like soft yet noticeable enough to registeryou have typed. Weight is light to me but I lift so may be heavy to some. Battery life is short about 3 hours if heavy use.

I REALLY wanted to like this laptop
Had it for 2 days. Thought it was going to be great, I was so excited to get a few games and have a nice laptop for school.Well, day 2 rolls around, I’ve only downloaded steam and Gog at this point. Get notification that I need to download Netfx3 to run anythingDoes not download over data after multiple attempts. Workarounds to download the file from LOCAL folders already present within the laptop don’t work. All troubleshooting and workarounds with customer support and chat gpt dont work.I’ve had this for less than 48 hours and it is unusable.I pay for a gigabit of wifi, I dont have poor service, it is 100% this laptop or its software.Came preloaded with nearly 300GB of bloatware including NORTON and others that slowed the CPU severely.I had a cheap Walmart brand $100 laptop for school for 7 years and never had this many issues with it aside from it running slow.This is not worth the money or headache and I threw out the packaging thinking that I would love this computer so now I’m probably stuck with a $1600 paper weight.BUYER BEWARE

Slicing through frames
Great college laptop for when you save up some money from your part time job. 1440p resolution with 165Hz refresh is perfect for gaming in the dorms. The 5060 GPU is low TDP so it’s good for lectures since the battery becomes manageable and won’t die within a few hours. Intel mobile CPUs are still #1 and super reliable so it’s going to be future proof for a while. Small enough in size to carry around in a backpack too.
