I am in love with these lights! I love setting the mood in my room and these lights go above and beyond giving me the ambiance I desire. It was quick to install, no hassle whatsoever. It was a great price and the quality is fantastic. They have not shown signs of falling off and they were easy to connect and control in the app. I would 100% buy these again!

Excellent mood setter
These little kits are great! For just under $13, it adds almost endless illumination possibilities. Fun to mess with and get the right mood for game days or movie nights. Excellent bang for the buck! Well constructed and easy app functions.

Wow. They really do sync with the T2. They really work. I’m blown away. Makes me want to throw a rave, but the fact that I can setup a nightlight schedule is enough to justify them.The fact that I can throw a dance party or crazy movie theater night makes these special. The app is easy to use(yes you need 2.4 frequency wifi) I like how you can use the built in device mic or switch to your phone’s mic. They light up amazing and really bring my set up together. Reason it isn’t 5 stars is bc the corners don’t light up ( for obvious reasons). They were also a bit harder to put on if you have a bigger tv. But for the price I’d say it’s worth it for sure.

Easy app
Love that I can control the lights from my phone. I was traveling on the road and was able to turn on the lights for my puppy. I could see him sit up from my puppy van when the lights came on. So many different colors and functions I have yet to play with it all.

Awesome app for the lights
The app is freaking awesome. There’s all kinds of customizations and stuff you can do for the lights which is sick. I actually bought the wrong size but I managed to make it work on my PC monitor. The lights are pretty cool. The built in control panel kind of sucks, ngl, but it works and the control app makes up for it. The adhesive on the light strip is surprisingly strong.

I picked up this Govee TV backlight strip for a different TV setup, and like every other Govee product I’ve added, it just works. The lighting is smooth, the color customization is easy through the app, and the music sync and scene modes are a fun bonus when I want to change up the mood.Installation was quick, the connection to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi was solid, and having Alexa control built in is just icing on the cake. Between this and my other setups, Govee continues to be my go-to for smart lighting upgrades — reliable, fun, and better than anything else I’ve tried at the price.

I wanted ambiance but this is more Vegas strip
It’s been 10 years since I bought LED lights for the back of a TV. The first set I ever bought was for IKEA and they seem like antiques now. So I was excited about new LED lights. It was all simple enough if not a little cumbersome to install. The wiring in between the LED strips that allow for the turns are not intuitive and refuse to lay flat. But once I had it all installed on the back, it looks pretty clean from the front. When I first turned them on using the attached control box, they are extremely bright, too bright in fact. But after downloading the app and signing up for yet another account to control some piece of technology in my life, I was able to adjust the brightness all the way down to one percent, which was an acceptable level for what I was looking for, I was excited to play with the settings and see the different “scenes “these lights can do. Aside from one or two examples in all the preset scenes, It is very difficult to find something where the lights fade together seamlessly, instead, the LEDs all seem to march around the perimeter of my TV turning on and off in a very staccato, abrupt fashion that reminds me of the Las Vegas strip rather than seamless ambience that should be accenting the room rather than catching my eye, distracting me, and attempting to give me a seizure. All to say, I will keep these lights. I will use them simply to give some ambience and color to my room at night by accessing the app and turning it down to about 1% to 5%. I will not use all the crazy scenes because frankly they give me a headache. From the looks of it I can probably customize some scenes myself, but in the 10 minutes I took to play around with it. It is not intuitive and it would probably take me five hours to achieve my goals. Not worth my time.
