    Great Substitute for Wired Ethernet
The CAT5 cable from my ISP’s router to my desk somehow failed after installation of new router. The WiFi-Ethernet bridge was easy to install and connect to ISP’s Wifi, and works very well. The only downside is that all devices downstream from the bridge no longer appear as connected devices of the router. The address reservations and port forwarding settings for my devices in the router appear to be working, but changing them could be a challenge. May have to run temporarily a CAT5 cable from my office to the router, make the changes, then go back to WiFi.

    WiFi Bridge
I purchased this wifi bridge so that I could connect my laser machine to the wifi network. It works great so far. It connects to my router quickly and the speed is good enough for the laser machine. This bridge does broadcast an SSID and because of this, I unplug it when I am not using it.Overall, it works as intended.

very good product for the money
the wifi bridge works flawlessly and setup ib a breeze. would have given 5 stars but i can only get 100/100 (Mbps). My PC has a Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE so i wish i could get at least 1Gb.

Easy setup, solid device with caveat
This is a solid and cheap little WiFi extender and ‘ethernet to WiFi’ adapter. Both WPS and WiFi GUI setup make this simple to get going. However, I looked at this as a way to boost the speed of my Xbox Series X WiFi, as the built-in adapter doesn’t support gigabit WiFi. There is no way to disable the ‘bridge’ mode on this device, so it always acts as an extender even if you only need an ethernet to WiFi adapter. This slows the bandwidth significantly to about 100mbps in my testing. My Xbox on its own can get 200mbps with the built-in WiFi.Just a note for people who may be trying to use this device for the same purpose. I have nothing bad to say about it and will keep the device on hand for other projects. Older devices that only have ethernet will almost all benefit from a 100mbps connection to the internet.

Perfect Solution for Connecting Legacy XP Systems to Wi-Fi
This product is amazing! It took only 5 minutes to set up and works flawlessly with my internal network. I have legacy instrumentation running on XP operating systems, which don’t recognize USB Wi-Fi adapters but work fine with Ethernet cables. To avoid running cables from my server to these XP computers, I decided to try the BrosTrend device—and it exceeded my expectations. After setting it up with my internal wireless network, I simply plugged it into an XP computer using an Ethernet cable, and it connected automatically. I chose the 2.4 GHz band instead of 5 GHz since I wasn’t sure if XP would recognize the latter. The 2.4 GHz connection works perfectly, providing fast and reliable data transfer for files and images from my instrumentation. This product is a game-changer for my setup, and I’ll definitely be purchasing more for my other legacy instruments. Highly recommended!

    Bad Ethernet cable
I mainly got this as a WiFi to Ethernet bridge but after setting up the WiFi extender and connecting my device to this bridge via the supplied 3’ Ethernet cable it got no signal. So after some troubleshooting this device and mine I tried swapping their cable with a spare one I had. Voila! Everything works fine. Their supplied cable does NOT have all 8 wires but just the green/green-white and the orange/orange-white ones.

Documentation and interface a little off, but a solid product
I’m still running an HP LJ 4050 from the late 1990s. It’s a tank and I have enough toner cartridges to last the rest of my life. I am confident the printer will, as well. Unfortunately, it has no wireless capability. This was okay until I moved to a small apartment where I had to drag an ethernet cable across the floor every time I wanted to print. This device has solved that. The one slight negative is that the documentation doesn’t make it exactly crystal clear just which mode is the WiFi extender and which is wireless-to-ethernet only. I’d also like to see an interface to shut down the WiFi extension part. I don’t need it and it just clutters the airwaves and wastes energy to have it on.The other note I want to make is about the IP management. Because of the way the docs were written I was afraid that my fixed IP on the printer wouldn’t work for some reason, that the device would try to NAT it or something weird if I didn’t do a DHCP IP (which wouldn’t work for me for reasons I won’t get into). But those fears were unfounded: the printer printed a test page first time with its fixed IP. No problem.Good product. Make the features more controllable and the setup cleaner and clearer and it will be perfect.

It broke in less than an hour
The device stopped working in the first hour of use. It was configured correctly and working great, but suddenly stopped working and can no longer be connected to.The power LED remains off while plugged in. The power LED is supposed to remain on while the device is plugged in, so this is definitely a problem with the adapter. It cannot be reset, cannot be reconfigured, and unplugging/replugging does nothing. I hope they reach out to me to replace it, but I will leave this review online until they do. Right now, this device is an expensive paperweight.

I have a Bluesound audio set up which is more stable with a wired internet connection but that was hard to achieve. I bought this device to provide a wired connection and it works perfectly. Set up couldn’t be easier. I plugged it in near my router, paired it with the press of two buttons, moved it to where it was needed and it connected straight away. Perfect!

  11. Amazon Customer

This WiFi to Ethernet adapter works exactly as expected. Setup was quick and easy — just plug and play. It provides a stable and fast connection for devices without built-in WiFi. Great for smart TVs, gaming consoles, or PCs. Compact, efficient, and a solid solution for extending wireless connectivity. Highly recommended!

  12. LEAH

Bought this so I didn’t have to run a Ethernet cable across my room to my CCTV dvr from my router…I just plugged this into a socked beside my dvr and connect a small Ethernet from dvr to this. Job done !!Excellent signal, easy to connect to WiFi via wps button.

  13. Fiona

Works fine after 2 years, easy to set up, never any issues. Only down side is this cheaper model has a 100Mbps LAN port.Bought this so that my NAS can connect through wifi reliably. DIdn’t disappoint.
