Wireless conference camera at a great price
We are using this camera for our meetings, 20 or so in a large conference room. The wireless connection is great – The video is very smooth and there are no stutters or hangs. We’d had problems with other units with the audio, but this Bluetooth speaker and mic picks up everyone at the table clearly. Recently we had a small issue with the UBS dongle but their customer support was very helpful and they were able to provide a quick fix to the problem. I had been looking for a while for a camera with these features and it’s working great. Easy setup with Zoom and a fantastic value.

easy to use and affordable for a hybrid meeting space.
Finding an affordable wireless camera option to create a hybrid meeting space in my boss’ office proved to be quite the challenge, and the TONGVEO bundle proved to be the only reasonably priced option that was direct plug and play, truly wireless, easy to use system I could find. The camera quality is passable, the audio is great, and the only reason I don’t give it five stars is because it doesn’t have any AI tracking capabilities.

I’ve been using the TONGVEO Wireless Conference Room Webcam for a few weeks now, and I’m very pleased with its performance. The image quality is good — sharp, clear, and great even in various lighting conditions. Setup was quick and easy right out of the box.I primarily use this camera for live-streaming church services via Zoom, and I run everything through OBS Studio. I’m happy to report that the camera integrates seamlessly with OBS — no issues at all. The PTZ controls make it easy to get the perfect shot.Beyond church services, I also use this camera as a regular webcam on my laptop for WhatsApp video calls, and it works flawlessly for that purpose too. Camera Shows upside down
I finally got to use the camera. I did a test stream with it it worked fine Sunday I went to do a live stream service the Camera started showing everything upside down . I tried everything to get it show properly. There was no software to download to correct the camera problem and the remote could not solve the problemVery disappointed. How do I get the camera to work or send me another one.I need a replacement for this Camera it will not work it still showing everything upside down.I just wanted to do a update 09-28-2023I was sent a improved and better replacement camera and it is working better much better than the one I purchased. Also they sent me a speaker with it, but I haven’t figured out how to use the camera for live streaming yet.

European Plug Issue Solved and Appreciated
I am adding to my review to let everyone know that this seller has done everything possible to send me the appropriate cable, ONCE I was able to contact them. I have nothing but good things to say about this seller and their immediate response to me. I only wished Amazon was as proactive in the beginning. Once I was given the contact info to the seller, the issue was immediately handled. I purchased this item and immediately was confronted with the fact that the electrical plug on this camera is for European current. WTF??? I have now been in contact with Amazon several times. They sent me a replacement and guess what? One more time.. European plug. Am I alone in this? And why is there no option to contact the seller??

Die TONGVEO 5.8GHz Wireless Conference Room Webcam beeindruckt mich beim Test des mir kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Produkts mit einer hervorragenden Verpackung, umfangreichem Zubehör – und ihrer massiven Bauart. Diese Kamera ist schwer, stabil und wuchtig. Das schiere Gewicht der Verpackung hat mich merhr als überrascht, ich hatte eine deutlich leichtere – und kleinere – Kamera erwartet. Der Fuß der Kamera kommt auf gut 17cm Durchmesser. Und das alles ist für eine PTZ-Kamera auch gut so.PTZ – Pan, Tilt, and Zoom.Diese Kamera ist auf einem Gimbal montiert, das 360 Grad drehen, sich nahezu senkrecht nach oben und ein gutes Stück nach unten bewegen kann. Um das ruckelfrei und geräuschlos hinzubekommen, braucht es Gewicht und Stabilität. Beide funktioniert hervorragend – kein Rumpeln, Rucken, die Bewegungen sind weich und stetig. Die Einstellungen werden erhalten.Kompatibilität:Die Kamera wird sofort gefunden und auch mit echtem Full HD 60fps ausgelesen.Getestet habe ich mit FaceTime, Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, OBS, WhatsApp und Facebook – in keiner Software gab es irgendein Problem. Der Datenstrom ist stabil, keine Framedrops waren erkennbar.Bildqualität:Bis hierher hätte ich 5 Sterne Plus vergeben. Leider – und das ist dann letztlich bei dem Preis auch nicht anders zu erwarten – gibt es hier doch deutliche Abzüge. Qualitativ liegt das Bild im Bereich von Mittelklasse-Streamingcams wie der Elgato Facecam oder einer etwas älteren GoPro. Sie kommt nicht an Osbot-Kameras mit ähnlichen Funktionen ran, von Mirrorless- oder selbst neuen Action-Cams zu schweigen. Ich habe sie spaßeshalber bei identischer Beleuchtung mit einer Osmo Pocket 4 verglichen – in der Detailzeichnung, Farbtreue und Schärfe liegt hier einiges an Luft zwischen beiden.Allerdings punktet die TONGVEO mit einem echten optischen Zoom – ein echtes Plus. Hinzu kommt die massive Bauweise. Das Teil ist überall gut einzusetzen, wo filigrane Geräte zu empfindlich sind – oder schlicht weg kommen.Fazit: mich erinnert die TONGVEO ein wenig an eine aufgerüstete Überwachungskamera – und das meine ich überhaupt nicht negativ. Für Konferenzen, Präsentationen, Vorträge etc. in der jemand die Kamera tatsächlich steuert und Bildregie macht ist das Gerät klasse. Sie braucht aber definitiv reichlich Licht -. und hat eine deutliche Kissenverzerrung am Rand, was ich bei der Größe des Objektivs nicht nachvollziehen kann. Damit will ich aber nicht sagen dass die Qualität schlecht ist – man darf halt nicht die Qualität einer High-End-Webcam, Mirrorless oder guten Action-Cam erwarten.Wem ich sie empfehlen würde:Allen, die eine grundsolide und ohne Computer oder App super steuerbare Streaminkamera brauchen – Firmen, Vereine, Gruppen, Kirchen, ich denke, da gibt es sehr viele Einsatzbereiche, in denen diese Kamera punktet und ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bietet – insbesondere durch ihre vielfältigen Anschlüsse.Wem würde ich sie nicht empfehlen:Streamer, YouTuber, Content-Creator – die Qualität reicht dafür nicht wirklich, außerdem machen die Funktionen der Kamera für Solisten vorm Bildschirm oder Schreibtisch keinen Sinn. Genau so wenig wie als Webcam.Insgesamt finde ich die TONGVEO PZV Kamera vor allem in ihrem Preissegment sehr gut und versatil einsetzbar. Mit einer etwas besseren Kamera mit mehr Empfindlichkeit und weniger Verzerrung wäre die Kamera ein echter Knaller.

Ich habe die TONGVEO-PTZ für unsere Hybrid-Vereinsabende im Gemeindehaus angeschafft: Vortrag auf der Bühne, Publikum im Saal, Stream per OBS ins Netz. Montage kopfüber an einer Traverse, Strom und das 5,8-GHz-Funkmodul dran, USB-Fallback zum Regielaptop – fertig.Ersteindruck: Das Ding ist ein Brocken (im positiven Sinne). Schwerer, standfester Kopf, ruhige, saubere PTZ-Bewegungen ohne Sirren. 1080p bei 60 fps sieht in Bewegung deutlich flüssiger aus als typische 30-fps-Webcams; der 3× optische Zoom deckt vom Bühnen-Totale bis zur Halbnahen vernünftig ab. Wir nutzen drei Presets (Rednerpult, Whiteboard, Totale) und springen per Fernbedienung in Sekunden um – sehr regiefreundlich. Das 5,8-GHz-Funkset war in unserem 12-m-Saal stabil; im Nebenraum hinter einer dicken Brandschutztür bin ich dann auf USB gewechselt.Autofokus und Auto-Tracking funktionieren brauchbar, solange die Person nicht in den Dunkelbereich der Bühne läuft. Die Kamera mag viel Licht – mit zwei Softboxen ist das Bild knackig, ohne Zusatzlicht wird’s weich und Farben driften. Leichte Randverzerrung ist sichtbar, stört in der Totale aber kaum. Ich warne hier am besten schonmal vor, diese PTZ Kamera ist alles, nur nicht klein!Man mag erstmal skeptisch sein wenn man den Preis sieht und dann bemerkt das dies “nur” eine 1080P Kamera ist… Zwar 60fps, aber halt trotzdem “nur” 1080P.Der Clou hinter dieser Kamera ist einfach das sie zum einen hoch mobil in der objekt verfolgung ist und die geschwindigkeit auch absolut ausreichend ist (ein Usain Bolt könnte dem Tracking sicher davon laufen, aber hier muss man die Kirche mal im Dorf lassen, diese Kamera ist nicht dafür konzipiert “schnelle” Objekte zu tracken) Für sich normal schnell sich bewegende Menschen reicht es jedenfalls absolut aus.Die Datenübertragung kann Wireless, über USB, RS232 oder RS 485 erfolgen, die beiden letzteren habe ich aber nicht getestet… das sind Anschlüsse die für Steuer-Controller verwendet werden … Sowas werden wahrscheinlich die wenigsten zuhause haben.Grundsätzlich ein sehr solides Gerät, ob man sowas aber auch tatsächlich haben “muss” ist eine andere Geschichte, den allermeisten wird eine kleine Webcam wahrscheinlich ausreichen, selbst das PTZ Feature ist für die meisten wohl auch nur ein Bonus.
