USB flash drive to optical out then to DAC. No need for a monitor. I like extended playlists from USB flash drives. I don’t even use a monitor.

Very noisy AV out!
I needed this media player specifically for the composite video capabilities. The HDMI is nice and worked fine, but the AV out is super noisy. When I run it through a mixer or even directly into the CRT, it’s just not a workable signal. I even ran it through a buffered splitter and it didn’t fix it – I think it’s actually too hot (which could be real bad for old gear).Anyway, if you’re looking for HDMI, you may as well get the 4K model of this one. If you’re looking for AV, consider another model.

This worked great repurposing am older DVI/VGA MONITOR I km using in a special effect Halloween display.What I love about it is once I plug in the SD card with the clip containing six video clips it starts automatically and will rotate to the beginning on its own without requiring any setting or input by myself. You just plug it in and it starts running instantly

Remote “barely” works, but only when held within 5 inches of player…even with bran new Duracell’sRemote looks used with most of the lettering rubbed off it’s buttons.Some commands simply don’t work including it’s display ratio change feature making everything permanently stuck in stretch mode.Randomly powers off unexpectedly for reasons only it knows…Return is imminent

Unfortunately the Media Player came with an American plug, which cannot be used in Australia. I can’t comment on whether or not this media player works.

I bought one of these years ago and it worked perfectly however the port started to get worn down leaving the connection hit or miss. This was due to me and my wife constantly swapping out our own external hard drives. The buttons on the controller was also showing lots of wear… so I just got a new one. Easy to use and convenient (especially for someone who isn’t so up to date with technology).

The unit worked really well, for 60 minutes. The video started to shut off and on. We noticed the unit got very hot so unplugged it and let it cool off. When we plugged it back in, it didn’t even power on. Returning.
