I got these lights because I was tired of climbing a ladder every season to hang the same old stuff. My back was like bro can we not do this again. So I wanted something that could just stay up all year and not fall apart in the rain. These lights looked like they would solve that problem without me turning into a circus act on the ladder. So far they seem to be doing the job.Setting them up was not too bad, but it still took longer than I wanted. The strips are a bit stiff, so lining them up nice and straight took some patience that I do not always have. I kept having to step back and squint like I was grading myself. But once they were up, they stayed put even when it got windy. I liked that I did not have to redo them five times.The app control is pretty cool, even if it was a little confusing at first. I had to poke around for a bit before I figured out how to change colors and set a pattern. It works fine now, though sometimes it lags like it needs a snack break. The remote is handy for quick changes when my phone is lost in the couch. I like being able to pick chill colors for normal days and brighter stuff for holidays.A couple small things bug me but nothing tragic. The lights are bright, maybe a bit too bright if you pick the wrong color at night, so my neighbor joked that it looked like a spaceship. Also the long length means you really have to plan your layout or it can get messy fast. But overall these have made my house look nicer without me risking my life climbing ladders again.
