An Amazing Little Machine—Very Happy
Super impressed! I’ve got a maxed out I9/64gb HP Omen that I love, but it has had some reliability issues and my old laptop is just not able to handle any backup duties anymore. After looking through the mini PC offerings and watching a lot of reviews, I went with this Wo-We based on good reviews and a really good price. The 8gb model only uses 1 DIMM slot, so I was able to install a salvaged 8gb stick from my old laptop, as well as it’s 2tb SSD SATA drive before first startup. Only four screws and the whole process took about 20 min. Build quality seems to be very good, and while plastic was used for the case, it was solid and reinforced where necessay for a quality feel. Plus, the plastic case allows for better wi-fi reception than other metal body mini PCs. Startup went perfectly and machine recognized new storage and memory. Tested for malware and everything was clean!!! The rest just got better. For the price I wasn’t expecting much, but this PC/iGPU proved to be quiet(completely soundless), cool running, and very snappy. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’m not a gamer so I can’t speak to that aspect of performance, but on my mid-level video editing tasks, everything worked smoothly and fast. Sound quality from the headphone jack was very good too. I don’t see many people mentioning this, but I listen to music while I work and I appreciate not having a lot of hiss or other issues found on a lot of laptops. Everything functioned perfectly while editing a 1080p video, and I watched 4k and even 8k videos without dropped frames or issues of any type. I expected the 4k to work well, but I was expecting 8k to fail playback and it cruised through a 30 minute video flawlessly. I was planning to use this with 2-15.6″ monitors, but after seeing that it could mount on the back of a 24″ monitor with velcro, and requiring just a 6″ HDMI cord for a clean install, I decided to go that route. The combined unit, while larger than a laptop, is just as portable for my needs using a monitor case. That’s about it, just very pleased with the purchase.I wish it had a full SD card slot instead of the Micro SD slot, and a full spec USB-C port with PD out would be nice, but it would also increase the cost. I’ll work around those issues easily.

Its compact design and strong performance-to-price ratio make it a compelling alternative to more expensive, traditional desktop computers.I currently use this as a mini NAS, although probably not the best use of it, since it only has a NVMe drive and a 2.5″ SATA drive, but I haven’t experienced any problems. While I haven’t put it head to head against an Intel N-series PC, for being at the same price point (or cheaper), this product is an absolute beast in comparison.Out of the box it comes with a single stick of RAM, so upgrading this is highly recommended. Thankfully, it’s rather easy to upgrade; unscrew a few screws on the bottom and you’ll have access to the RAM and storage. Nice MINIPC! Security in the Default Image of Windows 11 unsecure.
As a professional IT administrator, I can tell you that this little machine is very nice. I wish the fan was not on the top of the box as I have a very dusty room which can overheat. I also like to set things on top of it and don’t want to block the fan. ( I own a Trigkey and its nicer) FIRST, WIPE AND RELOAD! Every time I would restart the computer it would say others are logged onto this PC are you sure you want to reboot? What? I should be the only one logged in. Also, there is a built in Administrator account that needs to be deleted. After deleting that account, there is an account/SID showing up in the root of the C: Drive. Meaning some account had full rights to every file on the Default Windows 11 install. Pretty shady if you ask me. This Default Windows load should be clean, not stating others are logged in while you are. Fortunately with Windows 11 2H2 on it, I went to recovery and stated to recover the OS but leave everything else intact. Now, we are cooking. Also updated the Secure Boot Security Certs. So overall, a good little PC that will stay out of your way, and easy to use. Just have to reload. I Bought the 32GB DDR5 model and I love that there is barely a swap file. I absolutely loath MS Edge. It removed my Duck Duck Go browser when I made a new profile. Vendor also has web links in the registry pointing home to China. Best to reload. I Give it 4 stars because it really is a nice little PC, but I detract for having to wipe and reload out the box for security reasons.

This pc works, all the ports work, it is very small and quite powerful for it’s price, however, you cannot get proper graphics drivers for this machine directly from AMD (which is a pain if you do an OS reinstall), and (at least at the time of purchase) couldn’t get them on wo-we’s website. I had to go to BOSGAME’s website, find a model with the same apu, and manually install the graphics drivers from their website to get it to work after reinstalling windows.

Despite the somewhat disappointing speed of the SSD, Windows 11 operation is smooth. You may replace the stock SSD anyway, depending on your designated usage. The Intel N-series CPU has hardware-accelerated AV1 encode/decode compared to its AMD peers.
