This chair is excellent
I have bought 2 of these chairs for my sons and both love them. They are well built and very comfortable. It’s nice they build an extra large because one son is 6’4” so it fits him great. You definitely get what you pay for so the price is worth it. I definitely recommend.

Proper Posture
Pros: Chair overall is high quality. Assembly is very easy. The magnetic pillow stays put and is very comfortable. Seat is firm but not hard and conforms after a few days to your body. Lumbar support is very good adjustment is nice. Backrest is hard at first, if you are used to a very soft chair and most likely bad posture the chair may hurt your back as you adjust to sitting properlyCons: My backrest came with crooked logo stitching. After a week the lumbar support has begun to pop loudly and creak when I sit against it. It does not effect the functionality or comfort of the chair but is very annoying and worries me for longevity. The height adjustment knob also came with cosmetic damage. I have contacted Secretlab support and I am waiting to hear back. For the price things like this shouldn’t be an issue.Updated Sept 2022:SecretLab support responded and after verifying my various issues they shipped me a replacement backrest. I don’t know if the first one was just defective or old stock from a previous revision but the replacement’s foam is much softer and the lumbar support seems to actually move up and down where previously it felt as if it barely moved which I thought was just how it was designed. The stitching is also perfect. One defect is the threads in one of the mounting holes was damaged and took some effort to install. Everything else is good and the chair is more comfortable than it was before.

Disappointing quality and support.
While the chair is comfortable the quality was way below what you would expect for the price. I already had a side cover break for no reason at all. The armrest pads tear at the drop of a hat. The chair is unbalanced and constantly spins, which causes the problem with the armrest, spinning until the armrest hits the edge of the desk.I should have just gotten a cheaper brand. When I contacted support they made me jump through hoops to include pictures of each problem area, then find the hidden serial number and even then they sent parts to something that is not user-replaceable all in less than a year of use.EDIT PS:I had to comeback and lower the rating. After dozens of emails back and forth with support about how the mechanism on the chair broke they sent me a new seat WITHOUT the mechanism. It took me weeks to open the box because I was in the hospital for surgery repairing the damage to my ACL that was further injured with the chair slammed forward twisting my knee with all my weight on it at an odd angle. It this point I think I am going to have to take Secret Labs to small claims. take this as a Buyer beware you risk serious injury with this chair.

UPDATE!After 2 years of almost daily use, I can confidently say the $700 was worth it. The chair has held up wonderfully and still looks just as good as the day I got it.Pros:This chair has everything you could want in an XL chair built for big boys—whether that means tall or wide for you. It has all the bells and whistles, as some would say. The armrests move in every direction to adjust for your comfort. The chair reclines and has solid back support. Even the magnetic head pillow is extremely comfortable, and it sits a little taller than most chairs, which makes it perfect for me.Building this chair was extremely easy—another huge pro. Right out of the box, it feels like you bought a premium item. With the help of a giant instruction poster, I was able to slap it together in less than 10–15 minutes.Cons:The damn thing is way overpriced in my opinion. While I love my chair and it definitely checks all the boxes for me… $700+ after tax is just too much for a chair. At least for me, I can’t justify anyone spending that much on something to sit on—unless you’ve got money to burn. I mean, you could literally buy a brand new console and a cheap TV for that price… or you can have a chair. The choice is yours. I’d recommend waiting for a sale—unless you just can’t.Will you be happy with this chair? Yes, I believe so.Will you hate yourself a little for spending so much on it? Maybe a little. But eventually, you’ll forget about the price—and you’ll be happy sitting in a very sturdy, comfortable chair.Happy gaming!

Partner is happy with new chair
My partner has been wanting this chair for years. He’s read hundreds of reviews and had it in his list forever. We finally splurged. He has several injuries from a car accident and is particular about the support and comfort of furniture. He appreciates the support and adaptability of this chair. He says it is far more comfortable than any other gaming chair he’s owned, and should last a lot longer. If it really does last, it’ll be worth the money I suppose. I got his old chair (I don’t game, but I work beside hime sometimes) and there is a huge difference in functionality and comfort, so I understand why he loves it so much.

Yo soy de México, compré ésta silla en diciembre del año 2022 y la recibí a mediados de enero 2023.Es una silla bastante cómoda, los materiales en general se sienten de muy alta calidad, desde que te sientas sabes que estás en una silla premium, tope de gama.Me gustó bastante porque yo siempre había batallado con las sillas por mi postura, ya que siempre mantengo mi espalda firme y derecha, otras sillas me jorobaban o directamente mi postura no iba con la silla en la que estaba sentado.Esta silla es la única en la que he podido estar sentado más de 4 horas estando cómodo, sin dolor o sin lastimar mi espalda.El soporte lumbar, simplemente increíble.Recomiendo al 100% esta silla si eres una persona que mantiene su espalda y postura firme y recta todo el tiempo, de igual manera aunque no lo seas, ésta silla te ayudará a mejorar tu postura.
