Works great to let you know your pet wants to go outside
Great product especially for the money. I have a great Pyrenees and unfortunately he thought the only way to go outside was to scratch the back door to get attention. It only took a short time for him to figure out when the bell goes off somebody’s coming to let him out so no more scratching. I placed the alarm on the floor pointing towards the door so he gets within 4 feet it rings.

    GREAT FOR A MAILBOX ALERT!
Great product! I have this located inside (attached with velcro) a large metal/brick mailbox (125 ft from the house) facing the mail slot/chute. The postman pushes/moves the mail slot door down which has a small 3-inch orange irrigation flag taped on the underside inside the box, this color/movement triggers the alarm when the postman makes his delivery. No more wasted trips to the mailbox, hear the alert tune from the monitor unit in the house, do a little dance and go get your mail. Every 6 months clean the sensor window & install a new battery. P.S. My only complaint, the names of the 38 tunes/songs/sound effects are not listed. We can’t find the name of our favorite alert tune, frustrating.

Highly Sensitive, works fine but dinky music
Works very nicely as a motion sensor alarm. The sensitivity and range are excellent. It can detect a car moving in the street about a hundred feet away. Just plug it in and it works. The downside of this product is that all of the tones that it makes are terrible. Apparently the designer thought the product should sound ringtones as if it was a phone. Instead of a brief chime, you get long duration music that assumes the listener wants to hear a concert.Perhaps it’s just me, but I prefer not to listen to Beethoven’s Fur Elise when motion is detected. Neither do I want to listen to a Happy Birthday jingle if there is a prowler in my driveway at 3:00 a.m.The same goes for Christmas jingles, children’s jingles, and strange noises with people saying something I cannot understand. All of sounds this thing makes are terrible except for the one that I found which is a ding dong chime. That one sound is exactly the same as my doorbell sound, so I finally turned it off and just use the light.

Hard to complain at this price point!
I just got these so can’t rate battery life I needed something simple and portable, didn’t want to rely on WiFi or Bluetooth. I don’t need a picture, just need to get an alert when someone is on the move.Installation couldn’t be easier. I’m just setting my sensors on tabletops so that I can move them as needed, they can even go on the road when needed. I saw one review with a video showing floppy ball joints, mine are not like that and easily hold position. They are very easy to position as a stand for tabletop use. The sensors are sufficiently sensitive and position is not especially critical, it didn’t take any fine tuning to make them work.I can be a little critical of the receiver controls and functions, but not enough to ding stars in the ratings. The mute works great, which is necessary. Volume is a little sketchy, loud, sort of loud and tolerable. I wish the low volume was much lower. My biggest complaint is the 38 “chime” options. One might think that with 38 options at least one would be some kind of soft wind chime sound, or other soothing chime. In my opinion, every sound is loud, harsh and annoying. I found one I can tolerate at the lowest volume. Both volume and sound choice are made by cycling through the options, and it resets when unplugged so if you are moving the receiver from one location to another as I do you have to reset volume and sound choice each time. And it’s sort of a noisy process that could easily annoy others. So if I want to move the receiver into my bedroom at night and my husband is already sleeping there is no way to reset without waking him. I can mute it, count the clicks, unmute, and hope I get it right. That’s the best solution I can think of.So, really, it is not perfect, but it is going to do the job I need done and the price is very reasonable and it didn’t take me all day to set it up.

    Fantastic product
We intended to use these as a temporary doorbell 4 years ago & have been using them ever since. They’ve worked incredibly well. We’ve mounted them between the exterior & storm doors. They’ve had great battery life & weathered multiple seasons. We’ve used the speaker on multiple floors, so the range seems great. There is no real set-up required. You can choose from multiple chimes. This is a great product.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
This product is a perfect example of YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I should have known better when I bought it, but I only used it for one night and it kept going off, waking up the whole house. It seemed to be worse at night than during the day, but even during the day, with numerous attempts to adjust the angle of the sensor, it just kept on alarming even though I could see that there was nothing in the view of the sensor that was moving. It’s way more work than it’s worth.

The sensors work very well. Even outdoors exposed to the Canadian winter. The only recommendation for upgrade I would make is to update the alarm sound effects to something more modern.Overall it doesn’t affect the performance. I’ve purchased two now. One for home and one for the cabin .

the power is for USA power outlets NOT Australia, so does not work in Australia. But i just boughta $3 adapter.

Installed this system in March of 25 and works great. The 3 detectors outside are strategically placed about 15-20 feet from the house and pointed towards our 3 doors. The 2 alarms inside the house are plugged in outlets. We turn the alarms off in the morning and back on when we call it a night. The detectors are still running on the original cheap 9 volt batteries after 6 months now. My only negative is that most of the alarms sounds are pretty lame but we did find one that sounds like a doorbell.

  12. Beaver

Sensors and station (4-pack) work well although the sensor continues to transmit while someone is still in its range. A single audio alarm option would have been nice. One of the sensors was missing the negative battery spring. Just as well I only need three sensors!!

Useful in alerting me when I forgot to close my garage door, as it will sense any motion outside (such as a passing car). The drawback is that the chime length is too short for me (I prefer a longer duration chime) and the chime tune selection isn’t that easy but these are minor cons
