Works just as you would wish.
Just received this. Put on my iphone6 and I think this is going to be just great. Exactly as described. Great price.I have the carabiner clip affixed to my bra strap and the phone hangs loosely to my hip, so I just slipped the phone into my pocket (added security). When I am hiking, I will affix it to my backpack and likely just let it hang. The coiled cord allows me to pull it out to 30″ or so if need be.

Covers camera slightly but provides peace of mind
I wish I had a way to take a photo of it currently but my phone is currently broken (hence why i purchased). I have a Pixel 6 Pro and it does seem to fit fine. It also seems to be durable and likely to hold my phone if jostled (i swung it around with phone). I work with a lot of animals, am active, and always bending down and dropping my phone out of pockets etc. I cycle a lot too. I mostly just need it to stay put. I think this will accomplish all of that. The only thing is, is it does seem to cover part of the camera (but most products like this one will probably cover part of the camera regardless seeing how the pixel’s camera is across the whole top of the phone). This one at least doesn’t have a strap going right up the middle of the camera so I think it is just covering the wide lense and the flash. I was torn between this one and the Koala 2.0, which does have a strap right up the middle. Overall I think this can help keep me from breaking my phone for the 3rd time this year.

Too Small on big phones
Difficult to get on iPhone 12 max ; not good for big phones . Great for smaller phones

Good lanyard to ahve
Super strong rubber, nice lanyard and small carabiner. Good quality, fits the phone well and will provide good protection. Was thinking about this for anti-theft and not sure but think it will work for the purpose. All parts seem to be quality and well made. As advertised. Needs quite a bit of hand strength to stretch over the corners of the phone case. Would recommend and will continue to use.

It’s like a leash for my phone!! Never lose your phone again in a cab!

A disappointing experience, blocks lens on my phone.
I had high hopes for the Gear Beast Rugged Lanyard Phone Holder, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The lanyard is thick and bulky, which causes it to obstruct the camera lens, making it difficult to take pictures without removing the holder. It also covers part of the screen on the front, which limits the phone’s usability. The overall feel was clumsy in my hand, and it just didn’t seem practical for everyday use. A flat, adjustable strap that doesn’t interfere with the lens or screen would make this much more user-friendly. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

Possible design flaw…
NOTE: UPDATE AT END of following! Don’t know yet how many stars to give until I have tech verify problem is not my iPhone: possible design flaw—again, possible—is that I’ve had regular problems with people hearing me on calls. I think silicone strap placement obscures mic holes when phone is strapped and clipped to belt. Had no problem like this until I started using. I have to make conscious effort to maneuver straps when on call to be audible, and have simply resorted to taking phone out of straps to avoid this, which defeats purpose of always having phone secure from theft or loss. Bottom line, I wouldn’t get another one of these of any kind until if and when I discover the problem is my phone…—SM. UPDATE 7/29/25: the audio problem was confirmed today to be my phone! Requires replacement part for mic/speaker/charging ports. So problem was not product after all!
