Really cool mic!
I got the MAONO PD200W and it’s honestly awsome. It looks super cool with the RGB lights and the sound is crazy clear even when my room isn’t that quiet. I like that I can use it wireless or just plug it in with USB or XLR, so it works with everything. The battery last forever too, I used it like all day and it didn’t die.The MaonoLink app is also really fun to play with, you can change the sound, add some effects and make it how you like. It’s super easy to setup, I didn’t even need to read the whole manual lol. Definetly one of the best mics I’ve tried, totally worth it!

A Great Mic for both Professional and Beginner
Wow is the best word I can think of. I am starting to do Audio Book Reading – and this is such a great mic and VERY EASY to set up. Sound quality is great – and the wireless usage is better than the wired. Very flexible in usage can be used for any situation. I highly recommend this. And a great Black Friday price.

Great Overall Mic! Some minor feedback.
I love the mic. I think the quality, due to some options and controls, actually perform better than my Shure MV7.A few minor gripes, VERY minor.I like the concept of this little USB-C Receiver, however I don’t like that they designed it so wide that you’re not able to plug in other accessories into adjacent ports on your Macbook. I would have thought that they’d think that one through a little more. While it’s minor, it still matters.The other very minor feedback I have is that I was under the impression that I’d be able to control some elements of the gain in a more visual way. When you adjust certain controls, it is reflected in the brightness of the ring LED around the knob, but it’s difficult to know what I’m setting it to without counting the number of times the level changed.Again, minor but matters for me because I switch between the macbook and my camera often and I have to drastically change the gain but I almost always have to use software to adjust it.

This item is so great for many reasons. It is super easy to assemble. It was very simple to get the mic connected and working right away. I also made a mistake by not ordering the version that contained the RX Lighting receiver, which is compatible with my current iPhone. However, I reached out to the team and was offered a receiver immediately. I appreciate their quick response and detailed/informative direction on how to solve my issue. I will be purchasing again soon.

They have sent their quality management team to track this batch down to analyze the issue as this seems to be a rare occurrence. On top of this, I really love this Mic in terms of all of its functions and technical aspects otherwise!As I can tell that they are pro-actively rectifying the issues, and supported me throughout the post sale situation without abandoning their customer, they have gained my respect even more now.You could confidently get their product and they are extremely supportive if there are any unfortunate issues you might encounter.Cheer to the team and their! I wanted to improve the sound quality for my recordings at home, especially when I work on small voice projects or chat with friends while gaming, so this microphone caught my attention. The setup was simple because it can work through wireless, USB or XLR, which helped me move between my laptop and my small audio interface without changing my routine. The sound came out clean and steady thanks to the dynamic capsule and cardioid pattern, and even in a regular room the voice stayed focused with less background noise. I also tried the wireless mode during a short recording in the living room and the connection stayed stable while the microphone kept my voice clear. The software gave me useful control over EQ and ready made modes, so I could adjust the tone slightly to match the type of recording I was doing. The battery life was long enough for several sessions without charging, and the range felt comfortable for moving around the desk or the room. My Year 5 pupils have started to notice that I mutter to myself far less during remote lessons, and that is almost entirely because of the Maono PD200W microphone. From first switch-on the thirty millimetre dynamic capsule gave my voice a pleasing warmth and roundness, even while the three-year-old in the next room bellowed fresh facts about stegosaurs.I tried the mic three ways: wireless as I wandered round the dining table, USB straight into the laptop, and XLR into a small interface for recording the school choir. Each method worked without any fiddly menu hunting, and that sixty-hour battery life is frankly ridiculous, in the best possible sense.The cardioid pickup combined with the stepped noise reduction strips out nearly all of the hum from our elderly fridge, although the top setting does shave a little body off my voice. MaonoLink is useful for a quick EQ nudge, but the layout feels cramped on a mobile telephone. The bundled stand is reassuringly weighty yet quite short, so I had to balance the mic on a pile of Oxford Reading Tree books to reach mouth height. The plastic shell feels more classroom tough than studio luxe, and the RGB ring is either full disco or completely off, with nothing in between.Quibbles aside, the mix of cable-free freedom, solid audio quality up to 128 dB SPL, and the option to add a second mic to the receiver turns this into a cracking bit of kit. It is excellent value for anyone who wants a starter set-up that will still play nicely with fancier gear later on.
