great portable monitor
great, affordable portable monitor. listed at 500 nits, it is definitely brighter than other portable monitors i’ve tried which, for the most part, all seem to be 300 nits. i’ve had zero issues with this monitor: color is great, connects without issue, extremely light and portable. it does not have the refresh rate preferred for gaming, but for productivity work, it can not be beat.

Great for travel
I purchased this for use during an extended working vacation. My regular office has 2 32” monitors, in addition to my 16” MBP, and I wanted to recreate that on the go without having to find the space to set up 2 monitors on my desk. And I don’t like the idea of attaching extra weight to my $2k MBP, as so many travel monitors are designed to attach to your laptop screen.The smaller variety of this unit (I forget the size) is just a bit larger than my MBP and both fit nicely within the travel bag I already had. I measured for the larger version, and it would not have fit. But even though this is the smaller version each screen is still larger than my MBP. And I think the larger version would be a bit big to travel with anyway.Screen resolution is as promoted and works well enough for me. Build quality seems solid.Some notes on working with my 2019 MBP:I downloaded the driver required to use the monitor as 2 separate monitors. The process was not nearly as automatic as stated, and it works better as one single monitor. I deleted the driver and use it as one. Just position your windows as if they were two.And there was some odd behavior between it and the MBP with the MBP running on battery. I couldn’t get the monitor to stay connected. No problem. You have to plug the monitor into power. Go ahead and plug in the MBP as well, and this is not an issue at all.

Did not disappoint! Decent image quality, and it’s both light weight, and VESA mountable.

The features and image quality surprised me. I upgraded to a 1440p monitor last year, so I was expecting this to be really grainy. Of course, this is not the same image quality as the 1440p, but the 100Hz refresh rate really makes a difference. The reason I can say that with confidence, is that I recently tried a monitor of this same size from a BIG NAME tech maker, and it wasn’t nearly as clear as this one. I noticed much less graininess with this one.One thing that I think helps with the image quality is the built-in sharpness control, accessible by way of the menu settings. I promptly adjusted to the max sharpness setting and was amazed. The menu buttons on the bottom also allow for changing the kelvin quickly if you want/need to. You can leave it all automatic, or change the hue and saturation manually if you want to. It took a little time to get used to the button configuration, but once I did, it was fairly simple to flip through the menus and try the settings.Video “input” is by way of either VGA or HDMI. There are both speakers (tiny) and an audio “out” port. The audio input goes through HDMI. The built-in speakers are really tiny and don’t get very loud. They are probably useful in certain circumstances, but not a reason to buy this. I think the reason to buy this is really the display (and price point).The panel itself is thin and lightweight, and since there’s a VESA mount (two-holes only), being almost feather weight should create no problem if you want to put it on a wall or stand mount. The included stand is steady and easy to set up, but it also sat a bit crooked, which I wasn’t crazy about, but it’s not a dealbreaker, since I’ll put this on a different stand anyway. Another thing is that the screen itself is non-reflective. I sat with a window behind me and had no problems at all.In the box, you get the monitor panel, the base/stand (2 pieces) plus a screw for the base – and they include a handy screwdriver as well. You also get the power cord and an HDMI cable included.Last but not least – I’m not a gamer. But I did watch some Netflix and Youtube vids on this, as well as basic web-surfing, and I didn’t notice any light leakage, picture ghosts, or stalling/skipping. Given the specs and price point, I think this is a pretty nice deal. This obviously isn’t the solution for high-res photo processing, heavy gaming, or ultra precision CGI tasks, etc., but I would say that for most average uses, certainly for my average uses anyway (LOL), this will do nicely.

I bought this and after 3 use the hinge stop closing and didn’t function properly I really liked the step I try to contact the support and the number is just has a busy signal no matter when you call and I email them as will and no response what so everI would not recommend buying this as it’s very cheaply made and on top of all that there is no support or customer service to help you
