Excellent HP Multifunction LaserJet Printer… Does All The Right Things!
This printer is a winner! It replaces a similar 8-year-old HP LaserJet printer. This new model does everything faster, easier, and with better print quality. InkJet printers can’t even come close. Not sure how we could get a better performing laser printer for $200 (…now $349 in just a few months???).Set up was a snap — truly plug & play. The color touch screen interface is easy to read and use. The screen menus are intuitive and simple to access. This printer is a bit faster and quieter than my older one. The design is attractive and nicely updated.Many after-market toner cartridges work great and produce the same fine print quality at a fraction of the price of HP supplies. I have found nothing lacking on this printer or a feature that did not perform to my satisfaction. This is literally the perfect multifunction printer for the home office or small business. Check one out for yourself.

Makes great, clear copies. Set-up was easy. Am using it via Wireless, no glitches so far. Can be a bit fussy once in a while when paper feeding but easily fixable.

Great Laser Printer
A power surge took out my HP color Laser after 10 years or so. I no longer need color, so I thought I’d try this. Good sale price. Once it’s on, it’s very fast at printing, scanning and copying. It does take a minute or so to show on-line in my computer. If this was a business, you would just leave it on. But, unnecessary for home use.

Printing fine, scanning not fine
On Windows, getting printing working was a breeze. Scanning however, an exercise in frustration both for installation and usage. Whoever wrote that scanning software needs to go back for some serious user experience training. After multiple attempts from about 5 different directions I finally got everything installed. And I’m in the software business. Ten when it comes time to using the scanner the experience is very unfriendly and lacking in common sense assumptions. Whoever wrote that should look at the scan utility from Epson MX series to see how scanning is actually supposed to work.

This was so easy to set up on our office system. It works great and stays connected. Perfect size without taking up too much space. It’s working with all different computers no problem no need for an extra app and it all set up right from the touch screen on the printer!

Quality HP Product
My wife and I have always used ink based printers. We cringed when we’d get the signal indicating ‘low ink’ because it meant we had to shell out another chunk of money for an XL cartridge that really didn’t last that long. I knew that laser printers were more economical in that regard so kept that in the back of my mind for years. This printer came up as a special deal and it had pretty decent reviews. That was one of the things that prevented me from pulling the trigger on purchasing a laser printer in the past….always scary reviews about their function, quality, product support, etc.Made the purchase and although we’ve only had it for a few months now, we are loving it. Very easy to set-up, connects quickly and connection hasn’t broken which seemed to be an issue for many products. It prints very well and quickly. We are very pleased with our purchase so far. It will be interesting to see how long the cartridge lasts. It supposedly has 3X the lifespan of our XL ink cartridges and its price-point is almost identical.

That is when I can get it working. It continually loses wifi connection while my router is less than 20 feet away. Tried a wired connection (USB) but it refuses to accept it. Have spent the last hour trying to get two pages printed!I have tried to used the HP supplied software for trouble shooting, but it seems HP is more interested in taking more money from my wallet than helping someone solve a problem that is preventing me from printing. Remember, HP’s number one mission is to sell inks and toner at inflated prices, not to supply quality customer service. Very, very frustrating!!!

Good all-in-one printer. Easy setup. Good printing quality, clear, sharp and fine. The wireless printing function is convenient for printing from multiple devices in same house/family/office without the need of a printing cable. When replacing toners be careful that the printer uses toner cartridge with chips which can detect the toner cartridge type and may reject some none HP compatible cartridges.
