    Fitbit charge 4
This is the third charge 4 I’ve bought. I buy them mostly for steps. Sleep is important to me to, but it is grossly inaccurate. I use my Apple 11 watch for that. Other things like the weather don’t really show up. But it’s cheap enough to buy a new one every three years for steps.

    Great fitbit
Love the charge 4. Does everything that i need it to do. To date i have had 4 charge 4s so far. I am rough on them ( farm life with horses)and they usually last a couple of years to 3+ years. But the last 2 that i got didn’t last cause the connector where the bands attach broke off. I tried to glue them but didn’t work. Wish bands were interchangeable with a charge 5 though, so wouldn’t have to buy a whole new set of bands if upgrade to a newer model.

    Doesn’t last
Works but after a few years say good bye to it

    Hit or miss for most
I bought this because I wanted to see how many steps I take push mowing my lawn. Also how many steps I take when walking my dogs. It’s exactly as pictured, very nice screen, can read very well, easy to use and comfortable for me. Battery does NOT last 7 days. I’m only on day 3 now(wearing it constantly) & the fitbits says 24% life left. So that’s a bummer. I’ve had another type before and have found the step counter counts if you move/raise your arm wash your hands at times. I do enjoy the Fitbit and it’s other features. I wish the step counter was more accurate but it’s around your wrist not your ankle where I feel it should be but then it can’t detect some of its other features. So you’re going to have to choose what you’d like. I did buy an ankle band & will use it to see if it tracks better holding the information up sharing my phone when I walk my dogs. So after writing this review about a week later as I wear my ankle Fitbit pouch for the first time, realizing it’s super comfortable easy to forget that it’s there, why isn’t there a Fitbit for your wrist and your ankle that hook up to your phone not an either or.? Maybe there is and I just haven’t run into it yet, but I feel it would track that your steps better if you had some thing around your ankle and then for your heart rate, sleeping pattern breathing, then you should have an additional band for your wrist. Would be nice. 12/2/2024, my Fitbit finally broke. The piece that pops into the band broke off inside of it & I can no longer wear it as a watch but I can still use it around my ankle. Lasted 3yrs

In process to get a matching replacement
My FitBit Charge 2 ¨died¨ last month. It had made me happy in every way for the four years it lasted.Great product which has kept me and my doctors very happy and up to date on my fitness!Decided to purchase the newest Charge 4 , last month., on the 25 June. Two days later days later the battery completely emptied out. Checked all the instructions, updates, stats and reset options, but no real reason.FYI- battery should last about 4 days, as I do not use any peripheral apps or gadgets. Since that time the battery has been zapped three times after 24 hours.last week Called Customer service, and the (very Professional, very empathetic) agent thoroughly checked all options and troubleshooting tricks, until he confirmed that the reset button was flawed. He sent me a return label immediately. I have returned the product, and am waiting for my new, FitBit Charge 4 replacement!Don’t get me wrong! I AM A FITBIT fan! Hope that this replacement will function as excellently as my first one, for the next 4 years at least!UpdateOK …This is 5 days after returning the product via USPS: No feed back or ack from FitBit about receiving it. I was informed that they will send me a new replacement only after they receive the flawed one. Crossing fingers… To be continued…Latest UPDATE:02 Aug, 2020…Very frustrated and disappointed! This is continuation of an exchange process that apparently has gone awry.I did receive a reply six days after my previous comments, in which I was informed that “yes” the product tracking showed it was at the last stage before arriving at the FitBit return facility. To add to the confusion FitBit emailed me a USPS return label, but in their response to my query sent me a tracking link by FEDEX..As hope ebbs on the replacement action , and the fact that I was depending on that FITBIT4 to monitor my daily pro health activities, today, after more than eight days of the stalled tracking, I have emailed FitBit the following:Hello, once again…Please advise what is happening to my return package, sent back via your direct USPS Return Label sent to me back on the 21 or 22 July…I am more than anxious at this point about my ever receiving the exchanged FitBit 4 that was agreed to and promised. Your Customer Service has the record of the report set up by that office after verifying extensively that this FitBit 4 product was flawed and had a defect in the reset button, etc.At this point I want to reconfirm that you have finally received the product in question, so you can send me a properly working one as soon as is feasible. If this is too complicated or problematic for you, I suggest the alternate solution refund my credit card for the purchased amount.Truly, I have never had such a delay and problems with any exchanges or returns with direct vendors, much less Amazon ones. Usually once the Postal service or courier reconfirms that they have processed the return label code, the vendor immediately initiates the mailing of the replacement product, or simply refunds the customer.I have reverified all delivery tracking this morning, like every morning since I sent the FitBit4 back, but since the 25 or 26 July the tracking information seems to stop at the last stage in California. I can send you a screen shot if you have no way of seeing the information I just wrote about.I am kindly requesting that you respond with a solution ASAP:Thank you.It is 10:59 am CST 02 Aug, 2020

    Replacement Charge 4
This was a replacement for a Charge 4 I bought at least 4 years ago which would not light any more. I was so dependent on it, I had to get another one. Loved it!

    Love my fitbit!
Love this product!! I was of the opinion that I didn’t need one of these, didn’t need to jump on the Fitbit fad. I have an iphone and try to always keep it on me and track my steps and log my cycling. I have for years, and it’s cool to see my annual step count go up steadily over the last 4 years. I got the Fitbit because someone told me about the sleep function and at the time I was having spells of sleepless nights. I am SO glad I did, it’s awesome I love it!! I love getting to 10,000 steps a day and the little motivational buzz when you get there – you just want to throw your hands in the air and congratulate yourself, everyday! I’ve also had some weeks where I hit 100,000 steps, which is AWESOME! I’m not a die hard exerciser or gym rat or anything, but I love walking/hiking and cycling. It very much meets my need!! The sleep tracker is cool too, however it’s not 100% accurate. It seems okay at night, but if I wake up at say 5:30am and lay in bed for another 30 min – it still tracks that extra 30 min as sleep. Or if my toddler wakes me up at 2am, then I can’t fall back asleep for an hour – it still tracks that hour as sleep. It’s still cool and I like the sleep function, but with a grain of salt. This happens regardless of if I adjust the sleep sensitivity setting or the tightness of the band. All in all, highly recommend this product!!

Love my fitbit for the features I use. I have owned this Fitbit since August and have not been disappointed. It works reliably, synchronises with the Fitbit app. I use the basic features of exercise, steps, sleep analysis and fluid count. It maintains its charge for an average 4 days.I give it credit for disciplining my daily health and fitness.

I actually switched to an Apple Watch and gave this to my 11 year old granddaughter.

Please note that I am writing this review after using the product for 18 months I bought this in Nov 2020 just after the warranty was over in Nov 2021 the GPS started malfunctioning , so only way I could use GPS is by connecting it to phoneWithin few months the strap quality was so bad that it cracked I started using the larger strap within a few months that cracked as well . A month ago even before completing 18 months the battery started draining very badly . It would be full charged one moment and then it would be at 0 charge just 2 hours later. So much that now the whole Fitbit is unusable and has no value . I have to now buy a new a new fitness band 14k investment gone to 0 in 18 months
