Turned my Minisforum mini pc into a tiny beast, capable of handling the best of modern gaming and engineering design graphics programs, like SolidWorks and REVIT, with even more ease than before. And for the price, it was the best upgrade one could get, especially if you needed to restore previous graphics drivers to trick it into using this as VRAM. Great Upgrade for Laptops, But May Require BIOS Tweaking
These Crucial 64GB DDR5 RAM modules work as advertised and are a great upgrade for laptops that come with smaller amounts of RAM. The only issue I ran into was that my son’s laptop wouldn’t boot with both modules installed at first. I had to install one first, and then it booted up. After that, I was able to install the second one, and after a few tries, it finally booted.For some reason, this laptop had a hard time reconfiguring the BIOS when these were installed, but now that they’re recognized, they work great. The additional performance is definitely noticeable.I would definitely purchase these again. Keep in mind that your experience may vary based on the laptop you own.
