    Nicely built and works great.
Great unit, easy to set up and use. Good instructions and well packaged. Added a second battery with 4-175 watt panels. Pay attention to your load requirements and panel capacity. For my project located at high elevation and a north facing canyon I have limited solar incoming late in the season so I do have some problems keeping the system running. StarLink and a Blink camera system are the only continuous load but I still run out of power. In hind sight I likely needed an AC5000 with two batteries and more panels….or perhaps add a second generator with more batteries…and panels.

    BLUETTI are Incredible backup Batteries!!!
First things first!Heads up! This Battery is extremely heavy! If you have any issues with moving around 85 lbs on your own, get a small cart for it! I am an average Adult Male and it was tough to lift on to my shelf by myself. Now, that should not discourage you from reading on. The Battery is super worth it!This is an absolute beast of a Battery that can run practically anything in your Home or Travel Vehicle you may need during any situation you may encounter. This Unit powered my Washer and Gas Dryer like they were on the Grid! Now this Battery may seem a bit featureless in regards to missing DC Ports, but this Battery is meant to be a bit simpler to keep initial costs down. It allows you to add additional modules as you need. You will love this investment!Def buy!

    No customer support
Apex300 does not come with the new software installed may have trouble with dc inout for both dc inout ports. Customer service is a joke. You will not receive a return call for tech support. Like the apex300 you way want to purchase 2 apex 300 instead of a b300k addition battery. 2 Apex300 will allow you 4 dc inout for Solar without using a 4k input system accessories b300k does not have a dc input

Works great . . . now – Keep your box and packaging till you check it out.
I waited to write this review until the problem was resolved. I am now very happy with the purchase. It is expensive, but Bluetti has a great reputation. When my AC300 and B300 arrived, the system would not come on. I called customer service, who asked me to send an email and attach a video. From that point on, all communication went through emails. I was asked to perform troubleshooting tasks and send videos. After several of these, Bluetti sent a call tag and I had to repackage the AC300 (40 pounds) and take it to a Fed Ex location to send it back. After a few days, they sent me a new AC300. We hooked everything up, and it still wouldn’t work. More emails, more troubleshooting tasks were given to me with instructions to take video and send it back to them. Eventually, they sent a call tag for the B300, and I repackaged and took it to the Fed Ex drop location. It was very heavy – roughly 80 pounds. After a few days, they sent me a new B300, and this time, it worked. Yaaay! All of this took several weeks. Customer service responded politely and appropriately to every email. The problem was corrected to my satisfaction. I like the product, and although it took a long time to get it working, I am glad I purchased this unit.

Pass through charging feature is a commendable feature
Ordered this unit on September 23 and got it two days later …which was fantastic. This unit meets my needs for 240 volt service to my transfer switch for a few necessary ‘power outage’ circuits in my house. Bluetti makes a good product (my AC200P has been very reliable for almost 5 years now) and I chose to go with the Apex 300 mainly because of the 120 VAC pass-through charging feature allowing a 240 VAC output concurrently. This is a great feature that some competitors do not have. For me the only downside of the unit is the 60 Voc limitation on the integral PV input, as my solar array is 110 Voc (5S2P) on a good day. Bluetti has this covered with the additional purchase of the Solar X4K if your array produces 150 to around 500 Voc, but my 110Voc is stuck in the middle of the void. My “work-around” is to let one of my other charging stations charge the Apex 300 using the 120 VAC output from that unit …with the other unit being simultaneously replenished from my solar array. Not the most efficient arrangement, but it works since I have an abundance of solar that usually is wasted for part of the day. Maybe Bluetti will address the 60 to 150 PV charging void with a later accessory release …maybe another Solar X style external controller or an update to the existing integral PV charging. Bottom line is that I have a solution to work within the limits of my solar array ( which I do not want to modify) and trust the Bluetti name and quality build of this unit to serve my needs as reliably as my aging AC200P. Time will tell, but this unit in my initial testing meets all my power needs for split phase emergency backup. The ability to increase battery storage with a B300K, if needed, is a nice option available for future needs. Very happy with this unit and I highly recommend it.

After using and testing 4 brands and 12 solar generators for the past 2 years, this machine is amazing and in my opinion the No1 brand today. The tech is changing annually. But this is my choice currently for the off grid cottage/rv.Add the expansion battery? Yes. The solar? Sure.Do you require your home panel to feed the bare minimum emergency circuits in a power outage? If yes this works. But you don’t need too just to take advantage of the product straight out of the box. If you are looking for camping size or a home ups, you may want something smaller, like the elite 100 or delta 2. But if you have a generator plug and panel wired for emergency power already, this is very useful.

Be careful Canadians the support line advertised on Bluetti Canada is a US number and will cause you a large phone bill to wait for tier 1 support to humm and haw about irrelevant things. Once they give up you go on a list for tier 2 to call you back. Still waiting for that. My problem is with a very basic setting having to do with the Time of use working mode which is supposed to draw from the battery during peak hours and use the grid in off peak hours. Mine does the opposite and it is set up correctly. I’m sure all of that will get fixed but why is the Canadian support number not a Canadian number.Update. Tier 2 support returned my call and was able to fix the issue with a software update. I’ll put their star rating up as the product is solid and their support seems to work. I won’t give 5 stars until they fix the Canadian support channels.

Worked for 42 days only. Not a good customer service.
