It wasn’t reset correctly
The phone itself is flawless. Set up was easy because I already had an iPhone so it all switched over. However, it had someone Face ID already set up after I set it up and it wouldn’t let me use it. I have to go to apple support for a correct factory reset in order to set my phone up right. Which in a whole wasn’t terrible, just took two hours of my time. It’s not ideal that I have to start over after I set it up already and had to have an entire factory reset but the phone itself is awesome. The tiny apple symbol on the back has some scuffs but I have it in a case so I never see that anyway. The screen is flawless and the rest of the phone is as well.

Premium option- complete nightmare
I purchased the most expensive “premium” refurbished option, and what I received was nowhere close to premium. The phone had clear cosmetic issues, and more importantly, hardware issues. After taking it to Apple, they ran a simple diagnostic test and immediately found a faulty sensor. This device should have never passed any real refurbishment process.Amazon’s A-to-Z warranty would leave me without a phone for up to 14 business days, not including shipping times, which is unacceptable when this wasn’t my mistake. This entire purchase has been a nightmare and feels like a complete rip-off.I feel I was scammed. The seller did not uphold Amazon’s standards for trusted refurbished phone sellers. Buying from this seller is basically a roll of the dice, and Amazon’s hands are tied because it’s a third-party seller — and the seller clearly knows that.A phone with hardware issues should never be sold at all. With the cosmetic flaws, it should’ve been listed at the lowest tier, not Premium . The screen was clean, the battery is 83%, but everything else was the opposite of what was advertised to qualify as Premium.
