Pile of junk
Absolute pile of junk. This is why you always save the box when you buy electronics on Amazon, folks.I hooked it up and it worked great, after a week I bought a second one. Then there was one day right after it wasn’t working. I kept playing with the remote and finally it worked again. The remote is okay and works fine with the device normally. You turn it on and off, fast forward, etc. Outside that one time it worked great.Then just before I couldn’t return it, it stopped working. Completely. Would not turn on. Nothing I could to could get it to work. Thank God I had time to return it. And I did as fast as I could. Did get a refund.It’s sad that these cheap electronics are a total crapshoot when it comes “will they work or not” but that’s the world we live in today. I still have one more that has worked okay so far but we’re waiting for it to break down. When the thing was working it was a good device. But it just stopped because it’s a pile of junk.There are a few options of digital devices out there, this one is NOT good. There is no reason for this to break down after 4 weeks, absolutely no reason, but it did.

I bought this to replace my old WD media player that stopped working. Although the price is right and the picture is great, my main issue is that the fast forward and rewind functionality isn’t very good. You have to use the “go to” button to move within a video. This means you have to know the exact moment to go to. However I will say, for this price and technology, it’s pretty decent and worth the price.

Set it and forget it, this works great for digital signage or artistic loops
This media player works great for when you have a recording to loop, but you don’t want to hook up an entire computer or dvd player. I loaded several different random video files of various formats and the player loops through them without the need for any interaction. There was not much lag in the menu and the picture image has been clear on my 4k tv. The device can also be used as an MP3 player or photo slideshow, although the play menu is difficult to navigate if there are a lot of tracks or if you are searching for a single photo because it is text. The preview only shows one preview at a time.

Didn’t work out of the box
No stars because this thing is a piece of S*%$ ! I took it on vacation to watch some tv programs I downloaded on a thumb drive. This thing wouldn’t even come on. Changed batteries, tried on a different TV and when I got home on my TV. I had not much to watch at the guest house on vacation. If you buy this make sure it works or you are screwed when the return window closes. Beware of this company!!!

Clearness is not good if use composites cable
