These are great. Installation is east and the added holes for screws allow you to make sure they stay in place. The adhesive is strong as well. The color options are good. I wish the app had more options but it does function well.

Ok if you just want a single color when lit.
Great as long ass you only need one color displayed. These are not RGB-IC so one color at a time for all the LED lights. Solid Red or Green or Blue…ect. There are different modes of transferring between colors but you will not get any ‘chasing lights’ effect just a dim to bright kind of transfer. So I paid around $40 so not too disappointed, but I would have liked to be able to have multiple colors on one string. Also I can not figure out even after researching how to get the timer set. I go through the app and it tells me ‘No Gateway available’? these are Bluetooth light run off the app not off my WIFI?? No where in the setup can you pick or program WIFI settings. So just know what your getting before you buy. I did notice that if I run white or light blue, the LED closest to the wall out of the RGB will reflect off the wall. So if I set it to white then I see a green reflection off the wall because the GREEN led is closest to the wall when lit. I mounted mine with the included adhesive on the back plus added one screw to keep it there. Mine did not come with cable organizers like I seen on some pictures but I had my own they were just black instead of white so they stand out a bit during the day.

Lights are nice, app is pointless, which is disappointing
Mostly, I really like these lights. Like so many LED lights for outdoor display, these can change colors, change brightness, and do a number of cycles of fading and color switching at all of that.What is nice is the design of the light string itself, with lights that stick to a surface and then can be secured with included screws. The lights are nicely spaced, produce good light, and the whole thing seems like it has been well engineered.Where the trouble comes is the app. This is supposed to be something you can control with an app on your phone and the app did connect for me, and I can use the app to turn the lights on or off manually, and I can change the color – all stuff you can do with the included remote – but it is Bluetooth only and you must be standing close. What I wanted was something that I could program to come on at a particular time, and the app makes it seem like you can do that, but when you get to the end of the steps on the app, it tells you you don’t have a gateway. Which means the app only works properly with an internet gateway of some kind, but it won’t tell you what kind of gateway, what brand, how to make it work, nothing.So, the lights are nice, the app is useless. I discovered that the 50 foot string does not have wifi capability and cannot be programmed. The longer strings can. So keep that in mind.
