Amazing 360 Camera, Totally Worth It!
I’m really impressed with this camera, and my husband even more so. We love the video quality; it’s crisp and clear, and the 360 degree features are a lot of fun. The battery life has also been good, enough for long outings. Overall, it’s easy to use, feels sturdy, and makes our activities look amazing on video.

game changer!
This camera amazes me on a daily basis, no joke. I wanted a 360 camera for years but couldn’t justify the price for the offerings at the time. A friend of mine has the X3 and his footage was amazing. When I compared the two, I just knew the X4 was the perfect fit for me. I bought this primarily for travel videos (making things a little more creative). But I also plan to put it on my mountain bike. I already had it on a selfie stick and had it positioned out my driver’s side window (not too far, just above my mirror) and the footage was clear as can be and very smooth. I bought a neck mount to test how walking around with the camera would be. Neck mount was great, and the footage was unbelievably smooth considering I was walking on a hilly/bumpy lawn. It didn’t have that up and down motion you see with other cameras while walking. The stabilization blew me away. I have also used it for driving by placing it on different mounts in my front windshield. That has also been pretty great. My only issue with the camera, and I think this is something I just personally need to revisit is the exposure in the sky while driving has been overexposed in the daylight every single time. The whole sky is blown out. I am using the premium lens guards, but I was hoping the auto exposure would handle this better. Like I said, that might just be a setting I need to understand better. Battery life has also been pretty great. I do plan on buying numerous batteries due to traveling and not having access to charge up as often as I would hope. It also does have a voice recognition thing which I have used numerous times. That way I don’t have to push the record button. I like that feature a lot. I have been pretty impressed with not just the camera but the accessories I have bought have all been incredibly sturdy and well constructed. I will say that the included case does not fit ALL selfie sticks, only the smallest one I believe fit the carrying case. It also wouldn’t fit the camera if you have the quick release mount on it. I wish there was a little more leeway with space. I probably will just order an off market case/bag for it. Not sure what that is actually called, but the gray case thing. The app for 360 is pretty great too…. but it does not offer all the same features that the desktop application does. I could not find direction lock in the app, but it is on the desktop one. Anyways, this camera is truly a game changer and has millions of possibilities for editing/creating.

Amazingly good 360 camera!!!! Love it.
It’s an amazing camera!!! Never worry about missing anything around you. Just record in the movement and reframe later. It’s image stabilization is amazing. Even though the my rideway is bumpy, it stabilized the video very well. I also bought a long selfie stick, I got great drone like shots without a drone. The framing software in the camera does a great job. It perfectly removes/ ignores the selfie stick in the videos. The editor might be bit scary and over whelming in the beginning but once you get used to it, it is great and very handy to edit on the go. And I also love this as it is water proof, need not worry about recording in the rain. It’s great for recording events, riding vlogs and traveling. Videos are very bright and colorful.

I was loving this camera and one afternoon I jumped in water. The charging port door opened and water damaged the camera. I thought for sure this would not be covered under warranty and I almost opened up the camera and tried to fix myself but ended up sending in for factory service repair. After answering a few questions, they stated they would cover it under warranty and sent me a brand new camera and battery. This is fantastic customer service. Owning a Canon R5 and some pricey canon lenses, this Insta 360 x4 camera is downright amazing for some of the shots you can get. I love tools and it is a great tool in my toolbox. I highly recommend it.

Seemless 3D Photos, easy, image a bit noisy in sub-perfect lighting
Bought the X4 360 to create 3D virtual tours, after trying to use 360-pano-stitch apps on my excellent new Samsung phone… the apps I was using did an 85% good job with stitching but I really wanted a 100% great option.The Good:- Flawless 360 Photos (stitching-wise)- Easy to use- Good battery life- Nice color- Disappearing selfie stick.. neat.. it works!The Less-good:- App “live view” periodically is glitchy and not refreshing well.. captured image is fine though- Grain shows in the image when used indoors if not perfectly bright lighting. I attribute this to the 1/2″ sensor size instead of larger 1″ … this kinda stinks :(- When creating my tour, I used the official selfie-stick to hold the camera (and app to trigger), but the small tripod screwed into the base still showed (would love for it to magically make that disappear too if possible). Still amazing the selfie-stick vanishes 🙂

X4 master in 360 videos no slouch!
X4 no longer the newest and greatest 360 camera on the market. The X5 now has that honor. The x4 is still no slouch though. The cameras ease of use and the 8k 360 ability is top notch. I use mine for my motorcycle 🏍 Instagram. I am now getting angles I could not get with my gopro 9. I purchased mine a month before the x5 came out. Had I known I would of waited but I’m still glad I got the X4. It stands up against the X5 toe to toe except for nights. X5 is better, still you will love the X4. The ease, the editing app, the pictures and videos it takes and overall looks make it a great camera. Brief example of small clip and screen shots.

Unbelievable how this thing works! Bought for motorcycle rides scenic and when I dress up like the Grinch or Freddy. Video is great! Making quick clips and showing them to friends through the app is easy! Pushing 50 and figured I’d try snd am so glad I did! Thank you wifey! Birthday gift was a smash hit!!!!

My mind is blown at the features this tiny camera packs. It literally captures a full 360, and you can get footage that you didn’t think you were aiming at. Amazing. Quality on this is also great. Finally something that compares to the latest and greatest GoPros, but with better features.

Really good action camera. The upgrades from the X3 seemed reasonable to went for this, still a bit pricey in my opinion for its capability but far superior to the GoPro 360 Max. Great build quality and picture quality and video quality is top tier. Love the shortcut functions and makes it really easy to use. Seems to be compatible with all my existing gear from the older cameras so great work Insta360 thank you
