Great cameras, a couple of hiccups, and support has been stellar!
I bought the 2 camera set. These were easy to install, setup, and a Wi-Fi connection was established easily. They worked great for the first week but not without a few recurring issues…- The first issue was that the cameras were both cycling at night. The infrared light lights were in an endless loop of on off on off on off on off. I adjusted the default view several times and that seemed to limit the cycling, then after a few weeks the cycling stopped altogether without rhyme or reason. Excellent.- The “Default Views” needed to be reset every other day. For reasons unknown the view would shift with no motion detected, no events recorded, and no manual interaction on my end. That issue has stopped with one camera, and the other camera has been generously replaced by AOSU.- I was AMAZED one day to receive a “Motion at Front Door Alert” and when I replayed the event there was a hummingbird buzzing around the camera and was being tracked very accurately, but there have also been a few misses of people walking up to my front door undetected. I have changed some of the settings and believe the accuracy has now improved.- Occasionally I will receive a pop up message that the Garage or Front Door camera has not been charged in one or two days, even though the main screen interface usually shows the cameras at 100%. Not an issue as long as they are indeed charging.I was very quick to judge the cameras and service, but AOSU Tech Support has been EXTREMELY responsive and has provided one-on-one support DAILY to insure that I was happy with my purchase and satisfied with the functionality of the cameras. Every issue was addressed quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend AOSU or to make a future purchase (doorbell).It has been an honor to collaborate with “Daisy” at AOSU, who has provided unwavering support and positivity… 谢谢

Great for the money camera and security
Great camera. Tracks and great resolution. Uses a 5 w charger it comes with and will use some juice in a busy area tracking. Onboard slot for a 128 gb micro sd card being used. Pairs easily with others on the network. Not a 5ghz wifi camera.

Very pleased with solar AOSU cameras….
This is the 2nd Solar Camera we have purchased, we also have 2 AOSU doorbells we use. It’s very convenient as all of these can be viewed in the AOSU APP, all in 1 place, no monthly fees or charges.We bought “PNY 128GB Pro Elite Class 10 U3 V30 micro SDXC flash Memory Cards” – they work well in these cameras. I especially like how the camera follows you and is rotating. This camera has the Solar panel separate from the camera so you can mount it further away if needed for more light, this is a great feature to have, I prefer these type over those where the panel is directly on top of the camera, more versatility.Also you can charge these with a type C cord if needed, if it’s not getting enough solar where you put it. It shows a solar panel & a flash in the right hand corner of your view in the app, so you know it is charging & how full the battery is at any given time. The mounting bracket allows for easy removal of these cameras if needed to take down. These cameras will follow the subject, rotate as needed as you are walking, really enjoying this feature as our doorbells just have a direct view.I tried the Microphone on this when I wasn’t at home to speak to my husband outside when he was shoveling snow, he heard me from a nice distance, very pleased with the volume in these, we have older Arlo cameras and this feature was virtually useless, volume too low.Set up was fairly easy, I am not very technical but it went smoothly. I did run into some trouble trying to add these 2 cameras to my husbands Phone with sharing, only to come to learn he needed to UPDATE his AOSU app… that was the glitch, once updated, it worked perfectly. Very pleased with purchase.

These two solar security cameras were added to my other 5 AOSU cameras, I had 3 solar powered outdoor and two indoor cameras. I also have the Homebase set which helps a lot t connect all the cameras together in one system with centralized local recording.I am truely impressed with these two cameras, I installed them in my backyard and the signal to my router is very strong, connection is very smooth. Setting them up on the app was effortless, I didn’t even have to scan the QR code, once powered on, the app identified them and they are up and running in less than 10 seconds.Connection to the app and rotating them is Greta and response time is excellent, they are 360° which is great for a complete surveillance of my backyard.Picture quality is also superior, day and night is very clear, I like the tracking person feature as its smart system is an upgrade compared to other well known brands in the market.The battery last for long time without need to rechargem this is great and very important for me here in Canada as we have a long gray winter and less daylight hours.Overall, AOSU cams are very much recommended, great company and superior performance
